Capcom Europe, any news? Are we going to be experiencing these delays?

Please let us know!

Uh, they've been delayed to Capcom's next fiscal year. That basically means the games will be released between April of 2010 to March of 2011. It doesn't mean that they've been delayed until 2011. ;]

Phew! My bad - I hope that happens here too so that MHTri doesn't clash with all the major releases during the last quarter. (ie. pre April - Final Fantasy XIII and Mass Effect 2.)

If anything, it's a very smart decision by Capcom due to the first three months of 2010 being jam-packed by high-profile titles. Bayonetta, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII, etc. to name a few.

It's now time to fill out the rest of the year and Capcom can take advantage of that.

Moved to All Capcom Games.

To say they are delayed when their was not a date to start with is sort of confusing.

Capcom have had a lot of games out in the last 12 months both DL and retail across all platforms so it makes sense spreading out the release of these games.

They also have a nice line up for the next 12 months so to spread them out does also make more sense to me.

Their are a lot of big hitters in the first 3 months of 2010 so why go head to head with them when they do not have to.

I'm a bit sad, but at least this gives me more time to play the other releases in March.

I'll still have Megaman 10 to buy that month. ;D

Yup. I they were released pre-April I'd have to avoid buying some games.

I still need to buy Darkside Chronicles and there are a truckload of immense games coming out during 2010.

Im sad about this news :(

Assuming the games will be split into the four corners of the year (as Chiara says the kotaku article is legitamate) i hope the news we get in the new year gives some info on the prospective order we can expect the games.

edit: Its rumourded famitsu will announce ssf4 will break april 1st.

Hopefully in the time it takes for some of the titles to come out over here they might pick up some additional content like Monster Hunter sometime has with the PSP games ^____^

I dont think they are being delayed only in the west James, i think its everywhere (at least it better be or i for one wont be happy).

Tri is deffinetly getting extra content but from what we know its not exactly earth shattering, a couple of weapons.
