Hey, i have Gears of War 2 with a code for XBL for a long time now but i cant download it because i live in germany ( DLC not available ). So, my question is, if i download it on the PC on my account, is it working ?
i doubt it. but you never know
I brought the code to download the Golden Hammerburst from a seller in America, which worked on my UK account. I'd just give it a shot, if it doesn't work then I seriously doubt it'll be void!
No, the download is related to gamertag...
You can try to change it... :D

In germany i cant download any DLCs of Gears or any other game that never came out here. I cant get the DLC for cod5 either, it says this dlc is not available in ur region. So i was wondering if i can get it on the site but .... dunno thats why i asked.
Why not make a new gamertag and set it to england or something? Then if the download works on that one, just sign into your normal gamertag and it might work?
I'm from england, and i made a new gamertag a while ago and set it to american, and i had access to all the american features.. they have way more competitions!! lol.

I never thought of that! When you download something the downloaded file the Console Serial and the HDD Serial that were connected at the time, not which gamertag downloaded it. Therefore if I was to download DLC or an Arcade game with an American account, I will have no problems playing it on my UK account!
