I want!

I recently go the I&II collection mainly due to my Ps3 not playing ps2 games any more and I never got to finish them.

Haha, I saw the image for the american one a few weeks back, but this is awesome news for europe!

I was sold as soon as I saw it in america, but knowing it comes with the collection, technically I'm not buying back a game that I already have, as I'm technically only buying GoW3, and it comes with it in the box.

So so good. I'm looking forward to properly playing the last adventure with the blood soaked Spartan.

Awesome beans. :D

This is exclusive to EBGames in Australia, and was just announced for release here. Looks like an amazing package and I may pick it up since I never got the collection either.

I'm not even a fan of the series, but this looks so tempting...

I like things like this :P

I already own GoW 1+2 for PS2, and have an imported GoW: Collection, but I will buy the 'God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition' no matter what the cost is!

I intend on buying it :) hoping the packing is as good as it looks!

Well, I have some more news on this. Mainly about the pricing. :D

"Sony's God Of War Trilogy will arrive on UK shelves on March 20th in the UK.

At least, that's according to UK retailers Gamestation and GAME.

Oddly, that's a Saturday, so don't mark it in the diary just yet. Sony told CVG today it was 'not in a position' to confirm the date.

The pack contains God Of War III, as well as HD remakes of its two home console predecessors and an artbook, soundtrack and more.

The price, however, is less appealing. Sony has confirmed to CVG that the £110 tag mentioned by GAME is accurate. Ouch.

UPDATE: GAME and Gamestation appear to have deleted the original listings, which were available to view earlier today."

I'm personally pretty happy about this, as I was expecting it to be £130. Being £20 under my prediction makes me feel pretty happy about forking out for this. Though, God of War is my favourite game series (next to Devil May Cry), so I guess I wouldn't have minded that much anyway.

Can't wait. :D

Price matters not. Day one purchase.

It helps that it's bundled with the God of War Collection. Three birds with one stone with a nice package and a ton of extra stuff to divulge yourself in. Worth the money IMO as opposed to those extortionately priced Modern Warfare 2 CE's. :P

£110.00 seems pretty reasonable lol.:D

I was going to import the GOW collection for £27.00, so this bundle which includes it and GOW 3 (£40-£50), artbook, soundtrack, plus the pandora's box makes it a great bundle for the price.

I was expecting it to be priced at £150.00 - £200.00, i will definately be getting my pre-order in for it.

Like my extortionately priced Modern Warfare 2 for £100, with a model of Soap. :p

Haha, yea, well I have both of the God of War's, but it's nice to have the collection on PS3.

I wouldn't buy the collection of the first 2 games alone, but as they come with God of War itself, I'm made up by it.

I have the first two on PS2 but I'd be more than happy to buy the GOW Collection on PS3 (if it were a standalone release). The addition of HD remastering and Trophies make it well worth the re-purchase IMO.

Probably, but then I don't have a HDTV to benefit from that. I'm just on a good old 32 inch CRT TV. :p

It does the job fine.....just doesn't look as nice or as shiny as my mum and dad's 42 inch HD.

It's up on GAME still

Pre-ordered my copy earlier :)

I can't afford to pre-order it yet, but I'll leave it til closer to the time, just in case anywhere else gets it cheaper.

I'll probably end up ordering it from game though. Shame, as Play's my top choice for online purchases.

GAME don't charge until they ship it, you can cancel it any time you want, and if it goes cheaper you get the cheaper price.

If I buy anything online it's generally from game, they're reliable, super fast shipping and if anything is ever wrong I can take it back to a store on the high street.

I generally stay away from play as I find their shipping times appauling, but that's just my opinion.

Ah, well they are in Jersey, and it's free delivery, so I can't complain. :p

Hmm, GAME say if you find a cheaper price then they'll match it, but I'm pretty sure that's for in store only, as there's nowhere to speak to people online, to say you've found it cheaper elsewhere.

I buy at play, as I find them to be the cheapest. Game are pretty damn reliable for getting a game to you on release though.....sometimes they actually get to you a day before release.

A lot of the time I actually gotten the game on wednesdays :)

Haha, two days early. Madness!

Yea, my Devil May Cry 3 (in the slipcase) came a day early, and I beat it in the same day. So on the day of release, I was just like what's all the hype about? I've already beaten it. It's so last tuesday. XD

*Excited* But it's doubtful that my NTSC GoW: Collection save will work with the EU version. Ah well, excuse to play it again I suppose!

I know this is quite an old thread, and a double post, blasphemy! Alas, I have a question; [Merged for ease. TZM]
I'm not a fan of pre-ordering stuff on the internet, it never arrives on time for me, but, with almost only a month before release Game.co.uk are still the only ones listing it for sale. So expecting it to be a Game exclusive I went to pre-order it in-store today and I got told that it's Online Only(?). Anyone care to shed some light on this? Is the Trilogy Edition Game.co.uk Exclusive? Seems a little far fetched to me

GameStation have them to.

Not sure if it's online exclusive or not though.

GameStation and Game are owned by the same company though...
