Quite an interesting read, and also funny...but at the same time a little creepy ^_^
They missed out a few examples that I could talk about though.
I bet if such a thing happens, armies around the world will be more useful than its shown on movies ;)
Yeah, thats always confused me, where the heck do they go? Sure there are some explanations in some of the movies but they are well armed, high in number, organised and knowledgable, how they fall so quickly is beyond me.
Im guessing they would seriously mess up the plot, the whole idea that humans are unaided by the military only furthers the peril.

Yup, I can understand the event in 28 days later since it spreads in a minute and they run very quick but standart zombies shouldnt be problem for a simple tank :D
Btw: I think scenario of 28 days & weeks later is the most terrifying of all imo, there is slight chance to escape from this situation :/

Thats cool. All I request should it happen, is for the parasite that took over the Village Cheif in RE4 to be my one. That dude was quality.

The idea is generally that by the time the Military realise how to handle such a situation, they are almost gone.
Soldiers are taught to fire at the body, but a body shot will do nothing. And as for a tank rolling over zombies...that will, once again, generally just destroy the body...what happens then when the soldiers encounter piles of bodies that may or may not contain still snapping heads?
It all mounts up.

To be honest wed be fine if there was a zombie uprising. I mean who has not played a RE game, or the like? Us capcomers could even make money out of it. Being hired zombie protection.

id rather be someone with knowledge of the oubreak like dr barnaby XD than a citizen....in Britain, youd probably be killed quickly by fast zombies because weapons arent easily available :O
i would like sum random zombie occurance 2 happen, more fun and more violance
