This game really needs sorting out, its the worst MotoGP game i have ever had the displeaserto play. Heres a list of the problems i have encountered so far.

1) The first thing i noticed is the GFX resolution doesnt save, so you have to reselect the resolution everytime you start the game.
2) The in game sounds are all messed up with each other so you cant hear your own bike cus the sound of the chasing pack is louder.
3) The in game options for lowering the volume of the sounds and music dont do a thing, i have turned the music off yet i can still hear it and the sound of the bikes is always at one level no matter where you move the settings to in the options.
4) This one is possibly down to the Quad core, when riding the framerate can be sat at 60FPS but the screen stutters and is very close to being unplayable. Maybe a few optimizations on the Quad core side of the game are needed here.
5) The bike upgrades section, I got given 2 points after i finished a race yet i had no option to assign 1 point each to 2 different atributes had to assign to 1 attribute.
6) Also 1 thing that you hear all the time about motoGP is that the bike setup plays a major factor, So why is there none of this in the game. Maybe one to think about for future releases is to have on Arcade the settings the game has now. Then in advanced a few more bike settings to play with, then with the Sim mode a full bike tweaking section.

One thing i used to love about the MotoGP games was that they were pickup and play. They worked great in singleplayer and Multiplayer, but this release is no more than pickup and pray for a patch as soon as possible. Now correct if i am wrong but as far as i am aware no other motoGP game needed to have a patch, or atleast i never found one on the web. I personally would have waited longer for a completed game to be made instead of a buggy one.

Hopefully there workin on the patch as i type this to save this game from the trash heap.

100% AGREE !!!

specialy this part :

i do have the same prob.... i reckon its because we are using ATI hardware ??? (common capcom answer this one) ??

My specs:
dual core 2.85 GHZ ... 4 GIG of RAM and ATI Radeon HD4870 ... LOL .........OS Vista

i also noticed its just the tracks which causes the drop down in FPS .. cause my GFX card does not bother at all if it has to render 35 bikes (125cc) or 1 bike !!!!!!!
or if i select NO ... AA or 4x AA it does not matter in FPS .. my GFX card is strong enough (4870.. lol) this all is measured with Fraps !

a few other game examples:

PES2009 -> 60 FPS all the time (everything maxxed out)
MotoGP 07 -> average around 60 FPS (8x AA, etc)

So Capcom any replys would been nice .. tell me what to do !!!

i reckon its because we are using ATI hardware ???

Sorry Im a Nvidia man, so they cant use that excuse.

My Specs,

Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz (was overclocked but i returned to stock to make sure that was not the prob )
4 GB RAM
2x 8800GT in SLI (tried all SLi modes and there not the issue)
Creative X-FI fatality
OS Vista 64bit

Now if anything there prolly gonna blame the OS

Wow you get it installed and running. You are lucky. I get a cannot add folder error on installer, and then when direct X was installing it threw up an error. I now have a corrupted version of directx on my system I cannot get rid off.

Fantastic. I am REALLY glad there was a change of game publisher.

I dont have graphics problems at all. Riding is different from 07, but its fine. The sound is very mono, the 125 cc and 250 cc sound is bad, but the MotoGP isnt very bad. Only theres no bike tuning function with Quick Race. WTF! Without bike tuning steering is messed up.

First, I would say wtf is with yours PCs???? I have old one spec machine amd 2600+, simple sound build-in, 512mb ram and gf 7 series AGP (lower line product rather;) ) and this game runs just like a hurricane, last THQ official version of this game was a mistake compared to this one!!! huge positive difference for me, really! and also I havent noticed any bugs like crash game or something.

...but Second, I agree in 100% with those, who demand an ASAP patch from Capcom to make this game stable and more sound likeable.

In my personal opinion the main problem of this game is that it has been released too early when software wasnt really finished already!
so for this Capcom should be kicked. Tactless in front of your customers so do the job (update) dear ladies and be more serious :)

Hi guys,

my first post :-)

First of all i played every motogp game yet..and none of them had this lack of multiplayer options ever.. the only thing that really counts for me to be honest

Where are the commentators, the grid girls with the umbrellas.. i need some action around to get the real race feeling..thats so sad .. second thing the
MULTIPLAYER OPTIONS !! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ??? i join a race ..end it..and thats it ? this makes NO FUN ..absolutely not acceptable for such a game..

NO CHAT ?? HELLO ?? what are you guys at capcom doing all the day ? you get a lot of money for this game so think about it..no tuning at all online just the bike i got at singleplayer but why cant i change at least the setup as in singleplayer ?? to hard to implement this in online mode ? No championship mode where i could collect some points ? no online ranking ??

just some points for the moderators here and i hope they tell capcom, milestone.. what users are writing here

Now to write something positive..in my opinion if you got used to the bikes behaviour it really makes fun to rock the tracks ( even with no atmosphere ) im soneone who tries to get best laptimes so i dont really have a look at the crowd around

so just one thing FIX THE MULTIPLAYER !

thanks

Ok i see there is no reply from Milestone/Capcom people yet :s

i still do have the stuttering/low FPS problem i tried everything to get rid of it but.... no way !
if you search on the internet on sites where they do play the PC version, this issue does come up on nearly every site ! so we are not the only ones :s

http://www.capcom-unity.com/motogp/go/thread/view/7441/5067523/Stuttering_Moto_gp_08_pc_Help_me ..... Same problem copied from the US site

So... is this gonna get Studied/patched by Capcom/Milestone :?:

Or... try to explain us what is causing it, because i see some people with lower system specs dont have this Problem

Anyway it would be nice to get a decent reply on this issue (cause its giving me motion sickness looking at all this stuttering/low FPS)

Thx in advance
