HEEELP!
I have writers block...I cant think of anything to write, and im supposed to be writing...
Any ideas on how I can cure this block?
*sighs*
Well.. if I have an artblock I just surf over DeviantArt for a couple of hours and I immediately get a million ideas for drawings (which I never work out though), but Im not sure if that works for writing aswel ): How about.. listening to music, or watching movies, or reading books? I get inspiration from those~?

If I was doing creative writing, thatd help...but sadly Im stuck with doing reports and the like.

Back when I was still writing fantasy stuff, Id just install Neverwinter Nights or Ragnarok Online and thatd be the end of that.
When it comes to reports, you could either try and get really passionate about said subject or read some reports by others about similar subjects.

Whats your report about? Is it that Core Academic Skills thingy?
ahrite, reports.. yeah.. my ideas wouldnt really help about that either :x hmm perhaps you can just.. read about said subject? Not even try to remember the information you might need for your report, but just think/read about the subject?

When I have an essay,report or something similar to do I tend to put some music on and it helps make it easier. As you guys may have noticed I tend to write a lot anyway... :P

Whenever I have a block, what I tend to do is write...and write and write and write. Then I go back to the pile of papers the following day or a couple of days later, realise how rubbish what Id written is and start again. If Im lucky Ill find a couple of decent ideas that I can keep.

My major problem when it comes to things like this is starting.
I always have trouble starting my non-creative writing, but when I do get started it seems to flow out.
I have everything I need (it happens to be the 600 word article I interviewed both Tenebra and Clayonite for) to write the article, but I just cant get the opening paragraph down on paper.
Ive got ideas floating around, but nothing that seems right.
Just type, dont wait to work out the perfect opening in your head. Think of what your objective for the interviews was, what you are aiming to demonstrate/illustrate and write something that introduces the scenario.
You could just write whats in your head without worrying about form and style. You can always and look at that afterwards.
If you want to write stuff out in interview form, I always just write out some quotes from the interview. When you have all the stuff you found interesting on paper, the article will write itself afterwards.
Interviews can be a real bitch to work out though, goodluck and let us know if you need to have something test-read or whatnot.

My writers block seems to be partially fixed ^_^
I took your guys advice and just started writing what was in my head, and it just started to flow.
Thankfully this is only the draft that has to be handed in for the time being, but it all seems to be going well.
The quotes that Ive picked from the interviews are working perfectly with the article.
Glad to hear it worked out. I am curious though, any chance we could read said article?

When everything is finalised, Ill give people the chance to read it. Though Ill be screening it with Tenebra and Clayonite first, to make sure they are happy with the final copy.
Then, in January, Ill also show people the final layout as well.
But yeah, youll get to see the finished article in about one or two weeks :D
