moto gp 08 is rather poor compared to last years game.the handling is heavy and jerky. the brakes are so sharp and there is no sense of speed through the corners and why release the game on the last weekend of the season. the game is out of date already!! please dont make moto gp 09 let thq climax do it.

I disagree, this game has taken it to a whole new level with game play and graphics IMO

i have to agree with pitstop and Diablo here hayden, i think once you get used to the handling the games not bad on single player and i feel you do get a feeling you going fast.

how ever, the online side of this game is so bad i am unable to voice my true feelings due to this forum being available to young children.

here is a list of what some ppl have put down for what is wrong with this game from another site, some of these are my own comments as wel

Gameplay issues

Distinct lack of FEEL with absolutely no vibration whatsoever when the bike is in contact with the track. The only bit of feedback you do get is when you hit a rumble strip or go onto grass or gravel.
No customisation of bikes leathers
No use of R H analogue stick, many people like this as a throttle
Very limited set up options (Not all riders like their bikes set the same)
not being able to save setups.
When you start a career you cant alter the settings ie handling and AI level you have to start another one all over again. Would be better if you could alter it after finishing the season

Graphical Issues

Audio Issues

Multiplayer Issues

Scoreboard uploaded times can only be obtained in a Ranked Room.
Scoreboards cannot be viewed from within a Lobby
No Championship nor running points tally in a Lobby
Only host can decide handling gears veiw no mixed lobbies
Bike set-up cannot be altered/accessed from within a Lobby
No Boot option from Lobby available to the Host
the 45 second time limit when the winner crosses the line
not being able to save setups.
not being able to setup your own gear box.

and TBH not one of these has anything to do with THQs is better or worse than Capcoms version, this is what what ppl think is wrong and it is growing.

I dont agree with you guys

this is first time I seegame similar to old one - GP500 from Microprose :)

Of course, its a shame thay can release a simulation version of MotoGP finally and all the time we have just arcade racing.

on moto gp 07 i was in the top 1400 for lap times i could really push the bikes to the limit i just dont feel that on this 1. then again it is all a matter of personal preference. the graphics r pretty amazing just has an arcade feel to it. with the handling and braking for example goin in2 cork screw on laguna. on 07 i brake just before the adverts overhead and have to line myself up for the corner while slidin under breaks where as on 08 im breaking well after the ads and its no way as excitin goin thru the corkscrew. dont seem to use the breaks as much on 08. i dont wanna race as hayden on a honda now. shud release the game in may/june time!!!

i know where your coming from, but im looking at this game knowing its going to be different than 07, what i am looking at more is is not the handling/style but more at what the game can do from a features point of view. which at this moment is nothing compared to 07
