PC-Resident evil 5, failed to save game???

Hi, i have a big problem. So, i installed the game loaded it up. signed in with my windows live id. It says i need to make a save thing so that i can save when i play through the game. It also says i can proceed if i want to but i wont be able to save from this point on.

So i obviously go for the option that i can save my progress in the game. Well it comes back with a message after trying to do this and says "failed to save game".

I had a go of the game anyway and when i got to 1-2 part of game i quit then hoped this would be ok to go back to but no.

This is my problem. please, please if someone can help me with this issue. I just want to get stuck into this game. Hope to hear from people soon. Bye bye. Thank you for taking the time to read my post as well :)

edit- i would like to be able to save while i play this game. Why it says 'failed to save game' i dont know. I wonder how i can get that message to say 'save position created' or something to that affect

It's strange, I've heard about error on loading, but never on saving...

after a 4 week pause I started SF 4 on my PC after GfW live login it told me my save data is corrupt. When I want to create new data it says save data can't be created.
Tried reinstalling the game and GfW life, deleting save data, creating new GfW life account. Nothing worked.

I'm going to contact the support, too.
