Yoshi Ono, Producer of SF4, said to g4tv.com that SF4 will be released this winter in the US, both PS3 and Xbox360 versions.
Street Fighter 4 wont be released this year
Will be out this winter - look out for a January/February release.
Capcoms already come out and confirmed a release date of March 13 for its highly anticipated survival horror sequel Resident Evil 5, but so far is remaining very tight-lipped regarding the release date of its other AAA title Street Fighter IV.
However, speaking to X-Play Street Fighter IV producer Yoshi Ono has narrowed the games release to either January or February 2009.
We dont want to start rumours that its this year, but definitely this winter. At some point youll be sitting in your winter coat looking at snow out the window... and right then well kind of heat you up a little with some hot Street Fighter action so look forward to that, he said.
Street Fighter IV will form what appears to be a very strong line-up for the early part of 2009, which also includes Resident Evil 5 and Bionic Commando.

There is no official North American arcade release, so we kind of feel bad that you guys have to wait for it. Thats why were trying to get it to you as soon as possible. Before the Japanese have a really long period of time to get really good at it first and totally kick your butt online.We dont want to start rumors that its this year, but definitely this winter. Probably (hopefully) not that far from it. Winter include early 2009 as well. I cant imagine the release being spread out so much considering how anticipated it is. What Id like to know are the chances of the Premium Arcade Stick being released in Europe.
Europe and Australia have now been said to have a February release-date. Cant seem to find the article I read it in, but the info page on Gamefaqs also confirms it
