i'm waiting for this like hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can someone tell me if europe get uncensored version of resident evil 1 on pc because i found a box with a cover that was all black with an eye crying blood...does anyone knows what is this version???I have every resident evil on every console that came out for europe but i'm curious if I'm missing something...

I dont think so, not on console anyway.

That's the Japanese pc version (the japanese playstation version also got the same cover).
I'm pretty sure the European pc version got the full colour, uncensored intro.
The DS version was supposed to be uncensored, however, there was a mistake and it included the censored video, by way of apology, Capcom uploaded the uncensored video for download (I don't know where though.).
As for the costumes, they are pretty terrible, well, at least Chris' rocker outfit is, Sheva has an "ok" Red hood costume.

this one...are you sure is the japanese???because i have resident evil 1 on pc but is the virgin version that is not uncut and i saw recently that there were 2 uncut versions...one is the one you found me(didn't know region) and the other is the same cover with the original that has a new lebel that says fully uncut(us version)...and somewhere i read that only australia got the virgin label cut version but mine is the same with the australian and i live in greece(but hte box says europe version)...so is there any uncut version of the game on pc for europe or it was just that because i heard that the german was fully uncut but i can't find it and i thought it was the one with the eye...also thanks for the cover but i found the back cover and it has english letters...are you sure it's the japanese version???
Surprisingly, the RE games are always in English with only subtitles translated for audiences to give an authetic "Western horror movie" feel, it also has "Biohazard" on the cover, which is obviously the Japanese name for Resident Evil.

Firstly, I asked for the topics to be seperated, so I apologise if that offends you, just wanted to keep the other thread about the DLC.
Secondly, if you can kindly post some of the publishers details that would help, look for things like email addresses, actual addresses and dates/years, that'll help narrow down where it came from.

Dudes, i just registered here because you are my last hope of finding this game. I'been searching everywhere without good results. All is full of broken links and fake links. If anyone can send me a Link i'll be thankfull to him for the rest of my life. It doesnt matter if its in German or English, i really need the Uncut version. All those years i wanted to get the exclusive weapons and clothes.
Do the French and German versions of Director's Cut really include colour intros? I'm pretty sure no Japanese version has them.
