No easter eggs at Xmas but there are lots and lots and lots of prizes attached to it, independently from the score you achieve. Keep an eye on the prizes panel to see if you have win something and claim it :D

Get your Santa to fly :p But use the flight option with care, you need it to the end of the level.
This is going to drive me crazy until I win at least one thing, better get the coffee on...

I initially thought this game was rubbish - but actually it's quite deep.
The main reason it's a bit iffy is the random zombie thing - otherwise, reskin it, release it on XBLA/PSN and you have Treasure-old-skool game hit right there!
It took me about 7 games until I realize what the flight bar was there for :bash:
Why would santa be flying over a grave yard? if it's to obtain presents dropped in flight then ultimately he'd have bigger things to worry about such as a full scale zombie apocalypse...

Is there some special secret that people are applying in order to get to 14k points? :P I can't get more than 9k right now. I try tapping the flight bar instead of holding it down, but still run out quickly. D:

Because the levels are random you can sometimes get Afterburner twice!
One should be able to continue from the last level achieved :(

I just got to level 2, died at the first hurdle.
Level 2 is frigging hard. Don't forget to move up and right in flight as that gets you further with less flight, I think.

Ah ok, I have another problem!
Everytime I get to level 2 now, it gets past about 5 houses, then there's nothing for ages lol, so just drop as all I can see is sky. No houses spawn. :(

Ok, I've worked out the problem with the space bar; it can only register 2 keypresses at once. I was pressing up and across before space.

Game is sooo win! I would imagine rarther than prizes being unlocked as you play there will be a score tally after christmas. Would suck to see all the good prizes go only for someone to come in late and blitz the top score and get something naff for there trouble.
Diogo's found a glitch already, all that testing is paying off, he's turned into a glitch spotting machine!

Level 2 is really annoying, sometimes you just have no chance of completing it because the gaps are too big and you waste all your flight time cause of it. ITs still addicting though!

we Capcom fans are so predictable.. capcom makes a game -> it is released -> we find out it's difficult -> we realize it's definitely great -> we enter in hardcore mode playing it over and over trying every way to pass difficult points while we lose hundred of times startin all again every time we fail :D

I got to 18k and then my flight power ran out. Can I get the dark void back pack on my santa? might be slightly more reliable

The music is good, the first level is awesome but the second... its not fun, its pure frustration.
How can someone, in these modern days, make a game which second level can be beaten only if you are lucky? Only if you recieve the afterburner at the right time and only if you dont ecounter gaps that are too long, you are able to beat the second level, thats just mean and cheap.
There are games like megamen, which are difficult to beat but they cant be beaten by skill. And there are games like zombie wonderland, which cant be beaten even if you are uber skilled, you just have to be lucky. I played the game about 50 times, im not kidding and i still didnt pass the second level, sometimes i even died in the middle of it because i ran out of jump meter just way too soon.
Sorry but my patience run out and i had to post what i think.

uh, what i discovered!! if you press Enter while you're in the first stage, you'll automatically go in the 2nd stage, so you can start how many times you want from the second stage! however, it' almost impossible to get in the 3rd stage

I get 18k on average, but can't get 20k. Mental. It is mainly just sheer luck on the second level, but it's addictive and it's not meant to be easy.

Even the prizes have absolutely nothing to do with your score, it's pretty much just random easter eggs. It's only some madness for the xmas weeks, never intended to be a state-of-the-art game. It's only fun, nothing to do with good games.

To be totally honest, I don't know what the odds are. I've put a fair amount of prizes, on Mon I'll have a look of how many got assigned and will ask the developers to change things accordingly - I've got a nice back up pile of goodies to give you ;)
Whoever coded it needs to make a fix to make it physically possible to complete level 2 lol and using afterburners dont count!

How is it possible? To complete level 2, you need to have at least 20000 points(every 10000 points finish appears)and there isnt a person in the top 10 chart with more than 20000 points.
I´m playing this game about 3 to 4 hours and i still didnt manage to finish it, i dont believe someone beat the game.
I just hope that when you beat the game, you have a 100 percent chance of winning something, as a reward for all that hard work :)

On that red panel on the right, it will make noise and say what you've won. For me, this happened as soon as I started the game.
Underneath the writing is a big, yellow 'CLAIM' button. You click that and it brings you to another page where you log in with your Capcom-Europe details.
This will bring you to another page saying "Thanks for playing! We'll contact you shortly about your prize."

Good luck everyone! I may give it a bit of a break. I've been first like twice or three times (if you can count beating my own score when in first place), so that's good enough for me.

I wish the levels wernt randomly generated though. Level 2 would be really possible if there wasnt the big gaps all the time, thats the main problem with it. Oh not to mention that ive probably played like 500+ games and still won nowt lol

I've seen 4 prizes now. For those that have never seen it; it makes a horn noise when you collect the random "prize-present", and the red side panel on the right goes yellow and tells you what you've won.
Then after you die, there's a pop-up dialogue, and you have to click "claim prize" to accept that prize.
I went for a MH shirt though, I'm guessing we can only have one prize. It's only fair! :D
so its a physical prize you have to pick up in the level, does it look like anything special?

That's a pretty sweet prize. Rare vinyl makes great wall art - you can get special frames that fit records so you can display them with pride. I keep meaning to get some for all the rare stuff I mis-spent my youth collecting.

Apparently there are only 200 of the vinyls around, but as 3 are in this competition alone, I'd say there are more.
Still, I guess they're pretty limited, and it'd be awesome to set up a display in my room with everything I have. :D
Also, my PS3 might arrive today, so Borderlands which is next to me can now be played........also, more MW2 hopefully. ;)

You can get USB turntables but I'm sure there must be free software available to just record from the mic jack on your soundcard by connecting it to the phono out from a turntable. I keep meaning to get round to trying it.

Your e-mail address stays in the box every time you finish a game. Just click Play Again and go from there; you'll have just as much chance of winning a prize as you would if you kept starting from scratch. My prize pop-up appeared from playing a game via "Play Again". ;)

Haha, that's what I was after, as I wanted that one the most. :p
Anyway, I have lots of things due to Capcom and Chiara's generosity, so I'm not complaining. :D
The vinyl soundtrack is a pretty awesome collectors item, and gives me a reason to start putting my big models etc, into display cases......which I need to look for, afford and purchase. :p
Still loving my Dark Void model I won though! I'd say it's about 12 - 14 inches high.

Lol, just a general tip for anyone.......I can't get up to rank 1 anymore, and have stopped playing it now, but when I used to get 20 and 21,000, I'd run forwards, then when a zombie appears on the screen, I'd hold back for as long as possible, and then just as I'm about to hit them, I jump!
Obviously then you fly if need be, but the zombies with the small trails only need one press of the up button for a very very short space of time (almost like a tap), and as long as you're pushing forwards the same time, it'll fling you over.
If you hold back most of the time, you'll get more points by the time level 1 ends. I've had 10,500 and something before.
For level 2, don't hold fly constantly when big gaps appear, hold and let go, hold and let go etc, for about half a second each time.
Also, when you're low on flying gas, make sure you run forwards, and then when a chimney zombie is coming up (and you can see a ledge next to it), run backwards to get a run up, then jump, press and hold forwards and tap up to fly for a split second, and you should make it.
Time your jumps well, that's all. ;)
There's not much more to say on the matter, so hopefully this will help some of you win something!

I highly doubt. When someone wins a prize form capcom, he ussualy posts a message in the bragging thread.
Dont forget, capcom europe are only people, it takes some time till they send out the prizes.

Well, I won a t shirt but put the wrong end part of my email in the game (.com instead of .co.uk) but entered it correctly on the registration form. Spoke to Tenebra who said it won't cause a problem it just means that i won't receive confirmation. But my sister won a bionic commando figure (i think), she says she didn't receive any confirmation - despite putting email correctly in both fields. =/

I can now reach level 2 now, however i'm having trouble getting past it as i find my flight meter runs out really quicky while trying to jump the big gaps between the rooftops.
I will keep trying though, as i'm aiming for a place in the top 500 name list.

Oh well, back to the game, it's really addictive. I have alot of housework to do, but that can wait lol.

Ten, you should see about tweaking the scores for level 2, I know the presents are twice the value as they were in level 1, but the normal scoring by just surviving is still the same speed. If there is a level 3, people would stand a chance if those points were doubled
