I heard somewhere that a name change was coming, but when?
Ive been unimpressed with Pizza Hut as of late. I ordered an Italian ham and pineapple pizza, and it tasted like it was half cold. Guy didnt give me my 50p change until I had to ask for it. Also, I dont think 7.49 was a good price for the small thin crust pizza I was giving. :s

It is changing its name, yes.
Past Hut is seen as a healthier name apparently...so rather than thinking of unhealthy pizza, you think of healthy Pasta.
Major problem? Pasta is just as unhealthy, if not worse, than Pizza.
Pizza has meat and vegetables to go with the fat and grease, Pasta has lots and lots of carbohydrates.
On top of that, Pasta is a simple and easy dish that almost anybody can make at home for a lot less than what Pizza...oh, sorry, Pasta Hut have to offer. Along with that, if you want a nice Pasta dish that you dont have to cook yourself...would you rather go to a nice Itallian Restaraunt, or to Pasta Hut?

I think theyre going to lose business for this...not much, but certainly a small amount.
I think changing the image will ruin potential birthday-party business. I cant see kids cheering Yay, Pasta Hut!
It will quickly become the norm, youd be suprised how kids take to things.
Food is food in my opinion, naming things differently wont make them more or less appealing, although it wouldnt be suprising if KFC changed its name to Kentucky Fresh Chicken.
I dont use Pizza Hut, theres not one local. Dominos on the other hand ....
They are still going to sell Pizza though, right?

As far as Im aware, they will still serve Pizza...but there wont be so much focus on it.
Which again makes the name change pointless...considering people mostly go there for Pizza anyway. A name change isnt going to make people think You know what? I think Ill order some of their Pasta instead!
