Hey everyone!

First up, I'd like to link you to the trailer, but please be 15 or older to watch it, as it does have a slight bit of swearing in it:

Anyway, I was a pretty big fan of the first game.

Red Dead Revolver was an awesome game, and both the story and gameplay made for a very entertaining game.

Set in the west, you had moving trains to get on, could ride on horseback, have special power-up's, and even had quickdraw's!

Red Dead Revolver was basically your typical western film, but in the format of a videogame. Now, the sequel is due out at some point next year, and my oh my, does it look amazing. :D

I think the main guy you play as this time is called John Marsten (previously you played as a guy called Red), but to me, it looks like a huge improvement on the original game.

The graphics look stunning, and the gameplay from what I can make of in the trailer, looks pretty fun. Think GTA in the Wild West!

Anyway, what do you all think about this, and are you looking forward to it, or already thinking about purchasing it?

P.s. - If you haven't played the original, you should buy it, or at least borrow it from a friend, as I doubt you'd be disappointed.

I haven't played the first game but I am looking forward to this title. To be honest I don't know what to expect, is it really a sandbox game like GTA?

I hope it'll deliver, but it's Rockstar so I am not really worried about that.

Not really. I mean the level's that it puts you in are pretty big, but at the end of the day, it's still on a destined path.

You always had to go back to the town of Brimstone, in order to upgrade your weapons, buy new items for your missions, and then select the mission which you wanted to do.

It had multiplayer, but the real spirit of the game was the single-player.

The multiplayer just felt tacked on, so let's hope that isn't the case this time around. ;)

Still, it was and still is a fantastic game!

I have had the poster of the first game in my room for yeaaaaaaaars, but I got GUN in favor of this game, and from what I saw on gametrailers and stuff, I never regretted that.

I won't be getting this one, probably.

Aww, that's a shame.

I have Gun as well, but really didn't care much for it, as I felt Red Dead was far superior.

I loved the quick draw in Red dead where you had to flick the right analogue back to throw his hand on the gun, and then flick it forwards as fast as you could, to pull the gun out and shoot your enemy.

That was awesome, and it get's ridiculously hard towards the end.

Such good fun though. ;)

Gun didn't have this.
