Any chance of an age difference on certain topics, so that youngsters dont get offended or confused.

What about a members upgrade nothing like an advanced member that upgrades to a mod i mean like how many post you do or topics

lets say 10 topics or posts advanced member 50 or posts topics zombie member 200 topics or post godlike member.......something like that.

Wouldnt this be better in the Forum Support section? [Edit- Thats better]

Heres some suggestions from previous experience with other forums:

Forum Shop - How about some kind of forum currency which is used to buy new functions and features? Members get points by posting and other activities, points can be exchanged for features for their profile, avatar and username:

Make the username Bold or Italic, add a glow, change the color, Change the user-title, buy a pre-made avatar.

Arcade- I would like to see a compilation of Capcom related flash games ive seen dotted on the official forums and websites, it would be a fun social activity for the forum members to compete for a high score, maybe new games made soley for the forum would be nicer in the future.

Forum Themes - Some skins that make the forum look different would be nice, especially when a new game is out and a different theme would be more fitting to match the current hype, lets say that the forum by default is the current skin, and the user selects the skin they want to see (which is soley for them, not anyone else on the forum), and when another user views the profile, they see the profile in the selected users choice of theme.

Themes could include - Dead Rising, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Lost Planet, Mega-Man, Monster Hunter, Phoenix Wright/Ace Attorney and Okami.

It would be a lot of work for the sake of just looking nice, but its would be appealing and a nice feature to have.

Expanded Games list - I noticed a person mention that certain games where not on the list, it would be great if the list was expanded to games from the PS1/N64 era, or maybe Complete series options to save on profile space, so instead of selecting Resident Evil 1,2,3,4, the user could just add Resident Evil - Whole series instead.

General Cheats and advice section - Allowing users to ask for help on games and provide others with tips and advice, maybe a different section soley for Capcom games.

Im looking into the age restriction, Id personally like to lock 18+ rated forums. Its a matter of consistency.

As for the ranking...lets put it this way, Im personally fond of the latest versions of vBulletin with all the goodies they come with. Thoughts?

Pretty much - bearing in mind that its PHP based so modding it is easy and cheap :)

There is a link on the page the topic was originally moved from, that should be notification enough..

The vbulletin thing looks quite good...from what i can understand anyways.

Something Id like to see for this forum is importance...at the moment, the forum feels like a last resort for Capcom information.

This forum as a whole should be the first place you want to check for information about a specific title or series...It should be the first place to have a preview or review posted up, it should be the first place with images and videos, it should be the first place with a walkthrough, etc.

Im a fan of vbulletin forums, and dont like the ones from Lithium (look like 20th century forums). This one is nice, although Ive noticed that cookies expire very soon: I tried to post a reply and since I lost some time in Live Messenger when I returned I had been logged off and lost the text I typed (actually I recovered it by pressing the back button and use copy/paste).

Im also used to forums which automatically open links in posts on a new tab/window, in here I keep forgetting to use the mouse middle button...
