Yeah, surely we should be getting the answers to the previous months questions before starting a new Q & A for December!?

Just had a quick look at the answers for November and would like to add the following:
Personally i think having customisable bikes online isnt exactly fair as you cant guarantee an equal and level playing field.
Saying that, WSBK 09 has that feature too but i rarley think it is used. I can certainly be at the sharp end no matter who is racing and i always use std bikes.
Would it be possible to have the option for modified and std bikes online as that could create fairer racing for most and those who wish to use custom settings could have their own races. Maybe even different classes: Std/Custom/Mixed
One thing that does jump out at me as a bad idea is AI riders online. I understand racing with a full grid looks better and in some cases provides a challenge for some players online but it can cause all kinds of problems in the first few corners before you get away from them(which is the norm after 3/4 corners). Again maybe an option for this.
Also dont forget that synchronising all those AI players takes up bandwidth too.
The TC options? is it just a set of pre defined TC options or can you customise it to suit your riding?
The sounds are very important and you say you've spent a lot of time making sure these are right in particular the GP2 machines, first off its Moto2.haha and secondly does this mean that the 125 and 800's are going to be lacking?
We are talking about the bikes howling too, not the tinny buzzy sound that we've become accustomed to. Which is basically the same sound from tick over to full revs just a different pitch and volume. Surely there is need for 3/4 channels of sound for each bike(maybe even more) to allow the sounds to get close to what they should be.
Cheers guys
I've got some questionzz hereee :D
Will we be able to ride in a rainy Qatar?
Will there be bandit helmets and simpson helmets to choose from? (those from 2007 Xtreme mode)
Will it be that if the sun is shining you will be wearing a dark visor, and when your in Qatar or rainy weather you will be wearing a light visor?
Will you be able to turn off a lot of options like in SBK 08/09 with traction control and etc?
Will you be able to switch bike parts every season if you get enough money (if you can earn money)? With bike parts I mean like exhaust, or new wheels or brakes and that stuff...
Will we get a Xbox 360 livery as one of the standard teams to choose from?
Those where them all for now...
Thanks in advance:)

There is still around 3 months or so until the game drops - can I just ask what you are still tweaking or developing?

Everthing from improving graphics to balancing gameplay, bike sounds and the HUD etc. We're obviously checking for bugs, ensuring that we clear any before the game release. So, still lots of work to be getting on with, especially as we want to ensure we have a 'near to complete' version of the game when we welcome our visitors from the community on 18th December.

So can I ask how far before the official release date does the game need to be 100% complete? If you have just a couple of months left before the game goes to press is there any chance whatsoever you could try and implement the tweaking of bike settings in on-line lobbies ;) ? It will make a massive difference and would be much appreciated by the entire community!
will there be a pc version of the game,if so will it be a full dx11/dx10 game?
monumental
08-12-09, 10:19
There won't be a pc version of the game. We're only developing a PS3 and X-Box version.
woohoo xbox 360 for the win except voor RROD and scratchmaking stuff, burn you scratcher en RROD:flamesangry:

Thank you

You will have the option to play one to one without any AI riders involved or you can turn them on, with varying difficulty levels, and play with AI in the split screen mode as well.

I've got some questionzz hereee :D
Will we be able to ride in a rainy Qatar?
:)
The chances of rain in Qatar will be very slim. We've weighted the weather conditions to real life for each track.

It's too late to add new features for this version, but you can add your ideas for the next MotoGP title. It's all about tweaking and improving the look and feel now.

Thanks for all of your questions for December's Q&A session, I'll get some replies for you early in the new year.
- can we drive a warmup and celebration lap, and if so can we skip it?
- Will there be a podium ceremony after the race?
- What will the upcoming demo include?
- Are the replays realistic? I mean that the camera points are kind of the same as in real
- will the other riders bump you off every corner like in motogp 08?
- can we put our own music in the game?
- how far does the tyre wear go?
Motogpfan
they mentioned a victory lap in one of the other Q&A Sessions so yes, you will be able to do a victory lap
Hi Ive checked out the new screenshots of the game at Gamespot and I really have to ask if this is the game that you will be releasing in March?! I mean the graphics look pixelated and dirty. It looks like a really good ps2 game at best! I find that we are too far into the hd gaming era and this game looks like this. Will the graphics be tweaked to look like a proper hd game or will I have to wait for MotoGP '11?

Final list of questions that will be asked for this Q&A session.
CAPCOM UNITY
Andrew
Q: In career mode will I be able to switch my special livery? For instance, if I’m racing at Indy, could I switch to a red, white and blue livery and feathers for that race?
Q: I use the trigger (R2) for throttle, but can I adjust the sensitivity of it?
Q: We will have practice laps in online mode?
Kurzwe1L
Q: We’ve seen the controller mapping for the X-Box, but can you tell us more about the mapping for the PS3?
Q: Will the online servers be regional or international?
Walken
Q: Can you give us some more information about Live scoreboards for the PS3 version?
Q: How does the Online Mode differ from the arcade mode and championship mode? is the online mode more towards the championship mode, where I don't have to look at kudos and time bonuses? Or is it more towards the arcade mode, where I will be subjected to these unwanted features?
Ronin05
Q: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDhxcyGotkk&feature=player_embedded
This dude should have crashed when that bike was almost 90degrees sideways going into the first corner but didn't. So basically asking, is this type of physics present in all modes of the game with no option to turn it to something more realistic?
Q: Will the game auto detect and disconnect idiots who race backwards during an online racing game? If not, what is implemented to prevent idiots spoiling the online experience for others?
D
Q: We’ve seen the HUD in the arcade trailers, but is it different for the career mode?
CAPCOM EUROPE

Q: If the sun is shining will we be able to wear a dark visor and a light visor for poor weather conditions?
Q: Will we get a Xbox360 livery as of the standard teams to choose from?

Q: I’m concerned about AI riders online. This can cause issues at the first few corners. What have you done to ensure a good start to the race?
X-Box Live Addicts
P3dr0180
Q: In previous motogp games when racing online you would have to limit the amount of players in the room to reduce the amount of lag. What is the expected safe amount of players you feel your lobbies will hold without affecting the lag?
Rockgod1
Q: Will we have anyone making sure the cheaters on the scoreboards gets in BIG trouble?
Ix Oh Yeah xI
Q: What would you say are the major improvements that have been made to the HUD?
