Tenebra is too sexy for megaman, too sexy for Nabil, too sexy for Dante2014 and too sexy for Capcom Europe!
Lol @ Nabil
Sorry, Megaman, it's not how it works. When/if we need more moderators, we'll approach the members who we think are moderator material directly.
okay not a problem, you have a no and you could get a yes. Thanks in advance.
Um, Megaman, it doesn't really help when you spell the admins name incorrectly...

Sorry but this has been a thread of own. I'm not being harsh, but you have put CV in the title and done nothing to prove (in this thread at least) why you would be the most awesome of Mods. Just relax, if it's meant to be, it will be.
And the job you really want is Admin lol.
My number one question is, why would you want to be a moderator?
There are several capable people who do it extremely well for you already, they are neither harsh or abuse their position, are open to reason and are all valued community members.
If a post is offensive, you can report it, there's nothing stopping you from being dilligent as just a member.
And the job you really want is Admin lol.
That's the job to avoid :p

You say this but I would love your job. I am guessing it there is more to it than just keeping us happy. But I am sure it must be up there job-wise.

I don't think it's simply about being an "awesome" Moderator. It's about taking responsibility and knowing what needs to be done. Being fair, responsive and unbiased also needs to be taken in to account.
If you want to strive to be noticed for moderating then you need to ensure that you've become a staple within the relevant community. You know its in's and out's, as well as taking in to consideration my first paragraph.
This is one aspect of a community that you won't get what you ask for.

You're a good moderator. Your views seem fair, just and informed. And your active.
I'm pretty sure people want to be moderators for the power, even if they don't use it, they want it at their finger tips. At least that's how I see it. When I was younger I wanted to be a mod, mainly for the power. But now I'm not bothered. Whether I'm mod material or not isn't really up to me.

Maybe the fact that I'm not just the admin but firstly the online marketing manager has its weight but I wouldn't wish for anybody to work the same amount of hours at my pace, trust me on that. And when I'm off on holidays, I'd like not to work.
Having said that, I can think of much worse jobs.
