what is with the way we as game beyers get treted. gaming is the bigest market on the planet yet we get told nuffing about the game we have to wait and see when the game comes out. now the way it should be is when the game is done as we know moto gp 08 is we should get all there is to know about. the other thing there is only 1 game dev that is asking what as gamers we want in the game now all ov the devs of all games should be doing after all it is us that can make or brack a game. i am feedup up with it what have they got to hide?
now there have been alot of things asked about this game and all we get is ummmmmm we dont know you will have to wait and see
then there is the fact that the xbox game has got privet slots why does the ps3 game not have this seeing as most games on the ps3 do it why can moto gp not then there is vioce chats also on the xbox not the ps3? so i am gussing that the ps3 game will cost less seing as we are only getting half of what the xbox game is getting?
now see if you have got an answa for all of that
i am betting all i get back is ummmmm we dont know

to the first part,
if we all new what the game was like there would be a possibility that sales would not be as a good as the dev would want, thus we are treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark and feed, well you can work out the rest) i know about 50 + that would buy moto gp 08 if there was a demo out now or before it is released now this is just me each one of those ppl prolly know another 40-50 ppl with only a hand full crossing over that know each other. if this carries on your could be looking at 10s of thousands maybe even 100s of thousands of ppl not buying Moto GP 08 hell maybe even millions, this will hit the devs hard.
where as they do it now, even though i know there is a 95% chance moto gp 08 is the same as SBK which i hated, i still have it on pre order from play.com, cos they know we just cant resist. a few months ago i got Age of Conan on PC this was meant to be bigger and better than World of Warcraft, i played the open beta i got in on the early subscription and the game was quality, had a load of mates playing to so we had a laugh, 2 months on from release this game came to a grinding halt, no one was playing everyone got bored and a month ago a mate told me AoC has lost 2/3s of the player base they had on release. if they had said this game had a 2 month life span i would never had sent œ25-œ30 to buy it and another œ10 or œ20 for subscription.
so that is why they treat us like mushrooms.

Xbox 360 is better than PS3 :p sorry could resist :lol:
When a games being developed, nothings really set in stone. So developers tend to keep quiet about stuff, in case they end up going an entirely different direction. Just think about Fable. Molyneux kept sharing every little tid-bit with the media, which caused a lot of hype and eventually lead to disappointment when a lot of the promised things didnt make it into the final project.
As for the extra online functions the 360 will get, my guess is that its because Lives simply a better service than PSN. You have to remember, people who use Xbox Live actually pay 5 euros a month for it, and Microsoft invests a part of that money into server improvement and the like.
its make no point if you pay or dont pay sony is free cos they dont rip ppl off and psn is a hole lot better then live and i know cos i used to have a 360 and my m8 still has but thats not the point here the point is no mater what you have got a ps3/360/pc/wii we have all got to pay the same for a game and we are not all getting the same case in point wahy has sbk 08 got all the tracks and the 1 on xbox has not what the hell how can the call it a champoinship if you have not got the tracks that is my point here.
The reasion the 360 gets these things is that LIVE is easyer to work with than PSN.
Live has for more options avalible and and is better than PSN in every way (you get what you pay for)
Yes a lot of games do get private rooms on the ps3 but many dont, Voice chat again not all Ps3 games have it sony dont ask for these as standard in online games which microsoft do and microsoft have made it easyer to impliment.
Owning Ps3 360 and Wii both wii and Ps3 are both very poor online which is one reasion i tend to get online enabled multiplayer games on the 360.

Its free for a reasion you know whats why a lot of times you get the poor online options compared to live.
The only way for PSN to improve in my opinion is to put a charge on the service so sony can invest in it.
What Spike says pretty much hit the nail on the head. the only question I have is if Sony actually owns the servers to the games, or if the games developers do. Id like to think that I could play online on the PS3 a few years from a games release without worrying if the servers are going to be taken down. Look at Outbreak file 2 for instance.

Playstation 3, Xbox360 and PC will allow you and up to 12 friends to race on any track from the MotoGP season. Online players will be free to select any bike from the 125cc, 250cc and GP class and race any of the manufacturer bikes, competing in individual races. Players will have the ability to set up a custom match search and create their own match setting of up to twelve players in total. The 360 version will include headset voice chat support. Also for the Xbox360 there will be ranked matches (which affect your online Live ranking), leader boards, friends, reserve slots, invites and of course achievements.

have you got a link for voice chat in the game?
The info i posted was already posted by some one eles in this forum just a copy and paste job.
But the ps3 version wont have the online rankings and leaderboards that the 360 version has.
I can only go on the information thats avalible and i have found nothing to sugest voice chat for ps3 yet but can you point me in the right direction with a link.
My main problem what nobody seems to be able to ansrew for the ps3 is when the game is not popular withthe gamers will the servers be turned off like MH and REOB to save on costs?
The part I agree on is that Capcom have kept pretty quiet regarding MGP08 , I just hope the silence means were in for a surprise....a good one I hope
