View Full Version : Dante skin for Resident Evil 4
Hello everyone, can somebody make or/and send me a download link, that I can play as Dante in the PC version of Resident evil 4?
You don't know if it exists?
I don't think you can find someone that can do it... it is improbable.
Yeah I know. It is not easy to find a mod to combine two superb games togheter. There was on the net indeed some kind of mod that you could play as Dante or Virgil and even Lady. The fact is that you dont find it anymore on filefront.
Since this is more about a mod for Resident Evil, rather then the Devil May cry games, I'm moving it to the RE section. ;)

Are you looking for a skin, or do you want to have the ability o actually play as Dante?
A skin would be quite easy to find, given time...but the ability to play as Dante, with Dante's powers and abilities...well, this would be nigh-on impossible...
no just a skin is more than enough.

Speaking of Dante......TZM My older brother has a thought about why RE is better than DMC. He says it's because that Dante is supernatural and Leon, Chris are not and that they are human. What do you think? That DMC is not as scary as RE.
Sorry for off topic ness!

Well, somebody is certainly working on one:

It may be worth contacting them about it.
I also found this site:

No game is inherently better than another, as it is all down to personal preference.
I much prefer the Resi series over DMC, because I'm a fan of Zombies, Genetics, and Science in general.
DMC doesn't interest me almost entirely because of the supernatural stuff...as I find that all to be quite generic, etc.
It's also worth noting that DMC was the original version of RE4.

I don't think DMC was meant to be scary, the first game was certainly darker than the others, but it seems more like RE with demons instead of genetically engineered monsters, but in the sense that the world is, not the game play.
The fact that you're playing as humans for RE shouldn't really matter since they are locked within a specific genre and mechanic, you can't judge them on an equal level unless Leon dons a red coat and has a sword come RE6.
Surprisingly (or not, I don't judge), I'm not going to claim DMC is any better or worse. I enjoy both in different ways -
I enjoy DMC's gameplay and combat, it's a game that really puts you at ease, I also enjoy the links to mythology and the supernatural elements, I enjoy looking up the various references and it's actual history.
RE is slower and more atmospheric, it's story and horror entertain me more than the gameplay (although that still is pretty good), as well as the science behind it. Also the real world discussions I have here, since it's far deeper than DMC.
But each to his own, I guess.
