View Full Version : Bought Resident Evil 4 for pc and says cannot find d3dx9_30.dll
I installed Resident evil 4 and when I clicked Play came up with a message saying cannot find d3dx9_30.dll. I re installed it and came up with the same problem. Im using windows xp vista. (I put in the key code when it told me to during installation) Please advise.

I wasnt clear enough with my problem. I dont have the dll file on my computer or disc. Is there anyway I could perhaps download the file to get Resident Evil4 to work.
Did you install DirectX? If not, I suggest trying DirectX 9 first, seeing the dx9 in your error message. Just try googling for it, there should be a ton of downloads for it.
If that doesnt work, go for DirectX 10. And if THAT doesnt work, go to Start > Run..., type in dxdiag, click the second button on the top right and send the file youll get out of that to the e-mail address Tenebra just gave you.
