Well, since there was that warning at the botthom on the resident evil cube competition, but no thread, I'd figure I'd go ahead and fix that.
I'll also merge any posts that end up in the original thread which aren't supposed to be there in this thread.
So, if you want, discuss the competition, if you will enter or not, and why I should win. :D.... I mean... Euhm... LOOK! A DISTRACTION!
First question: Can we use more then six cubee's?

I won't be entering but I would have reconsidered around the time of Captivate earlier this year. Would have been cheap but awesome to place the cubees around the place in all sorts of positions and environments where Capcom folk were roaming around. :P

Well, I'm not entering as I already have a wii, and can't afford to waste the ink in my printer (unless we're allowed to make 6 small ones? As in all 6 on one or two pieces of A4. :p). My dad needs it for work related things, and I like to make sure I have enough ink for printing tickets off etc.
If it was a competition to make your own cubee, then I'd enter by all means.
Anyways, good luck everyone! I hope to see a forum regular's name up there as the winner. :D

It seems sad that not many people are showing that much interest in it, and I would love a black wii that's actually signed by the producer of the darkside chronicles. :D
Are we allowed to add things to the characters though...like sports related things (surfboard for summer, Sandboard for the desert, Snowboard for snow etc)?
I think I read that we can make multiple zombies, so I might actually go through with an idea I have.
We're not allowed to change the expression of the cubee's faces though, are we?
Also, out of the 6 cubee's, 2 of which are Leon. Would it not seem strange having 2 leon's in one pic? I can do something with it, but just wondered.
Lastly, they all have to be in one picture, and not a picture for each scenario, don't they?
Hmm, I have a few days, and my Sony Satio should be awesome for taking the pics. Better get doing it whilst the snow is here. :D

Doh, was wondering where this post went!
I'd enter it myself but the printer ink is very low and I'm not forking out for more (Need money for Smokes). I was gonna do one "Attack of the Giant Zombie Cat", but using all the printer ink, my parents would not be impressed. I no, sad but I've just moved back from England and living with them until I can get back on my feet. Or until they tell me to get out lol, which ever comes first.

Anyway, that's for entries, I'm expecting a lot more to start going in soon, judging from the 4,000 plus views which the thread has.
Only the judges can decide who wins, but I managed to do what I planned.
It's not about the winning though. I wasn't going to enter to begin with, but it gave me a chance to let out some of my creativity.
Plus, it would be a shame to see no entries at all, so I figured I'd think of something to do for it. There are still nine days left, but I'm sure I won't be winning anything from it, as other people can do so many different things with it. :)
It was fun taking part, though. That's what counts, even if I do have a thirst for treasure and prizes. :p

Nah, the black background is actually a hedge which just looked black, because of how the lighting turned out (or lack of), when I took a photo without the flash on.
That's for his entry, yea I'm sure you can take pics wherever you like. There didn't seem to be any limits. :)
grr ten, you really made these things hard to make!!!!! I cant properly make one let alone 25 im planning to try and do!! lol I guess im going to do some artistic stuff if i cant make them all in time, heehehehehehehe ;)

Yardy - Yea, I had my work cut out when I just had 8 to do. Was fun though, and I took time with my entry, positioning everything until I was happy with where they were.
Takes about an hour to cut out and stick just one together....well, until you get used to it, and then you get faster and faster.
That Austrian Parliament building is a fantastic looking building. :D

Thanks man! I tried my hardest to give off the Resident Evil atmosphere, and the setting is meant to be Alaska (which was recreated on my garden table), haha.
I don't have any amazing buildings or locations near me (apart from the De La Warr Pavilion, which looks like it should have been knocked down a long time ago), so I had to make do with my garden, leaving me at a disadvantage anyway.
I reckon you'll most likely win, man. ;)
Out of all the entries Cortez yours does look the best to be honest. Granted your timing in taking the pic while there was still snow helped! lol
Ravers pic of him outside capcom in japan is awesome, and would get all the brownie points if it were solely on location.
Other pics are great to see places around the world, but having the cubeys just standing in a row doesnt involve much imagination. Something like 3timesC pic for example is better overall than just a pic of a landmark imo.
Thats my opinion anyway lol

The Spanish's photos and the trip in U.K. pictures are nice too.
Feel really bummed as I've been super busy with work, had to work the whole weekend, so I had no chance to make them and take photos :( I had lots of plans too.

Zombies are like babies, as all they ever do is moan! Haha. Though, there's one thing they don't have in common, and that's that all babies look like Phil Mitchell, where as Zombies just need a good long sleep.

I was shocked at the amount of cubee abuse there was. Me and my girlfriend took the cubees everywhere we went in Liverpool and treated them really good. There was the odd limb or head which fell off but relatively painless surgery was used to graft them back on.
This was such a fun comp, we absolutely loved doing it. Was a brilliant day and the cubees have pride of place on my games shelf.
Hey Tenebra i didnt submit multiple posts but did take a lot of photos so uploaded the best ones. If only one picture is to be submitted then the last one in the post is my favourite.

Haha, a friend of mine uses Fimo, and makes little game related models with it. Most of his consist of Kingdom Hearts and Nintendo items. It's pretty cool stuff. :D
Also, Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton is out in March! I really cannot wait for it. :D

Hehe, yea I thought the red blood would come out quite well, but it surprised me. :D
I was so lucky to have snow still, as it actually started to melt a lot, but I really wished it would snow again after a day of not snowing, and thankfully it did.
My poor cubee's are dead and scattered around the garden though. :(
They got rained on.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica was my favourite one, out of the old styled games. I had it on the Dreamcast, and didn't ever complete it, but loved it all the same.
Back then, I still wasn't good at completing games, and the only game I did finish (when I was 10), was Street Fighter 2, and that was on the SNES with Blanka.
I played through the whole game with Guile, and then had to beat Bison with Blanka, as I wasn't good enough with Guile, and could only button mash back then anyway.
Now I love all games to be really challenging, as if something is too easy, I'm not happy. I need Platinum trophies in all of my PS3 games, too. Well, only for the games I'm confident I can get them with. :p
I have no idea who's going to win this, as it'd be awesome if I won this. There are a lot of great entries, and I myself couldn't pick a winner, so it's a tough choice for Kawata-San.
Whoever wins will be immensely happy, and it was a fun competition to take part in! :D

Nope lol, it was Guile. I really didn't like E.Honda, and still dislike him. I just remember crouching and knocking characters over with kicks, constantly.
I used to jump around non stop, and that would allow me to kick enemies in the face. Though, I accidentally did his sonic boom a few times.
Of course, now that I've learned how to play it properly on SF4, I know exactly how to do it, as well as his flashkick, but his ultra and super attacks are too hard to do.
