TGS newsflash - Even with the show still being closed to the public, a colleague of mine reports that the queue for Monster Hunter 3 Tri was massive. And I mean massive. The sign at the end of the queue reported that the estimated time to finally reach the game was 4 hours but people still were prepared to join in.

The logo for Resident Evil 5 really makes it stand out from the previous games and very cool props there. :)
You will problably laugh but I have no idea what monster hunter is as I never even played it!
Everyone problably knows but I was very happy to learnSakura was in Street Fighter 4 this morning when someone sent me an email about it... :P
Gotta save some money after graduating to go to TGS some year for sure.
I just remembered about that rumour for a SEGA/Capcom fighter that might pop up at the event?

Relax. Think Gears of War meets Resident Evil. Have a look at what Resident Evil has become, listen to the music played in the latest trailer, think about how Chris looks in Resident Evil 5 and how he used to look.
its lookes nothing like Gears of War their far to much colour in it :d

Considering the development team have nicknamed the new control scheme the gears of war controls im honestly surprised that people cant see the comparisons...
I have and I dont agree.
Chriss overall physique and arms is nothing like Dom and CO from GOW.
In GOW they are coverd basicly from neck to toe in armour which is very slow and cumbersome at times and gives the impresion of being realy heavy but looking at RE 5 their is none of that.
Re5 from what I have seen seems to be running at a lot faster pace than GOW.
The controls I have read are simular but thats as far as it goes from what I have seen.

Oh, thats why I prefer to call it Gears of Evil (or, as I said before, Gears of War meets Resident Evil). Admittedly, there are no locust. Well, presumably. Think about the posts made so far again. If you still disagree then that is fine. I surely wont put any more effort in trying to convince you, which I mean respectfully.
Ok i just had the Resi 5 vid playing again and no I cant see it.
Its seems to fast paced to be even compared with GOW.
As for how it plays I will have to wait till I play it.

Now that the TGS has finished, what are the chances of getting some lovely Resident Evil promo stuff Tenebra? ;)
As for this whole Resident Evil 5/ Gears of War debate didnt Resident Evil 4 have some influence in the way the original Gears of War turned out? So surely a sequel (to Resident Evil) would draw comparissons if ever there was any.
