Anyone given it a swing yet? I don't normally read comics, to be honest, but I have to say it's pretty nice feature and a solid addition to the ever expanding PSP/PSN library. Well worth a try!

If you're curious and haven't already had a look, you can get a couple of comics for free with these *vouchers:

Star Trek: MH75 – L3BF – HA95
Astro Boy: FG9D – NFBB – GQ33
Transformers: A8D2 - KMBF - JKE4

*These are only valid in the UK. Please visit the official PlayStation Blog (http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2009/11/26/playstation-network-digital-comics/) for more info regarding other regions.

I understand they have a sizable deal with Marvel - how big is the library currently?

At the moment there is no library. Haha. Even though you can get the viewer and use these vouchers to claim three issues, there is actually nothing to buy just yet. The shop launches in December [15th?] with 500+ comics, and will be updated every week.

Marvel is probably one of the strongest publisher at launch, but you'll also have Disney, IDW, 2000AD, Insomnia, iVerse and Titan. It'll be interesting to see if Udon will contribute to this, obviously with popular Capcom franchises. That seems like a no-brainer to me, anyway, as what better place to sell comics about games on a games console~

Last, but not least, how much will these comics cost. Well it depends on the publisher as they get to choose how much each comic costs. But we think you’ll be pleased. We’ll also have a few more free ones for you to try.

Doesn't really say much, but my guess is about £1-3.

I think the comic format is exclusive to PSP, but I'm not sure.
