Sainsburys to sell Xbox 360 for œ99

As of tomorrow it is expected that the Xbox 360 Arcade will be available for œ99.97 - Wii price reduction also coming.

MCV reports that Sainsburys is set to offer substantial price reductions for the Xbox 360 and Wii video game consoles from tomorrow. According to the publications sources the Xbox 360 Arcade will go on sale at œ99.97 - a œ30 price cut - while the 60GB model will be available for œ139.97.

Its not just the Xbox 360 which will be going cheap, with MCV sources stating the Wii will be available for only œ149.97.

The price cuts wont be permanent though, with MCV noting that Sainsburys will run the promotion between October 3 and October 12.

I am prepared to see something out of Resident Evil tomorrow morning as my nearby Sainsburys is about 3 minutes away and huge! :P

There will be carnage and blood will be spilled for sure...

... Q4 offically begins, I think this all has to do with christmas sales and the like if its only Sainburys cutting the prices. I wouldnt be suprised to see other outllets making the same move in the near future.

Could be a prime opportunity for getting a Wii then. Will be off to investigate later.

Im planning to get an Xbox360 next week, I had a console but it died, id lost all proof of purchase and initially felt like id been hit in the chest with a sledgehammer, since I felt somewhat in the dark when I tried to return it, with no real luck, im willing to part with more cash since this is a reasonably low price, im looking forward to my long, long nights gettting all my achievements back. :p

Im considering that since I like the cabled pads, not the wireless ones, ill just have to find it somewhere, but ill probably wipe it clean anyway and start again. :)

they dont do wired pads with the the arcade bundle, they did with the old core version.

you will be lucky to find a wired pad new as they dont make them any more.
