View Full Version : So will we ever see Resident evil 1 or 2 in europe
As you all know, Resident evil 1 and 2 have been released in both Japan and USA, and for some reason Capcom has neglected Europe, so my question is, my fellow resident evil fans: will we ever see the survival horror classics we love so much materialize on the european playstation store ?

They have problems getting past Virgin Interactive & Eidos over rights of release in EU.
I think thats correct, if not someone correct please.
I think they will come eventually, but the legalities and demand are whats holding it back.

As said, getting past Virgin & Eidos is the major problem.
Capcom are looking into it, and are trying to do it as quickly as possible...but there are so very many problems that come with it.
i hope they do release Resi 1 and 2 because im a massive fan of both titles, and being able to play them anywhere on my PSP would be incredible, the knowledge that potentially millions of people are already doing that, and have been for years in the case of Japan, where as i, and the rest of us, cannot

To be made available as downloads from the EU Playstation Store on PS3.
US & JPN have had them available for a while now.
