Mega Man 9 out now!

As some of you might have noticed, Mega Man 9 is finally out on WiiWare and PSN! Xbox360 gamers wont have to wait much longer as the game is planned for release on Wednesday 1st October on XBLA.

Will it be as good as you expect? It sounds like it may be even better ;)

For example there are no weird bugs that need you to wait for an update and download it, often you pay seven times as much for a game that isn t even close to a state that s ready for a release.
And I don t think I have to say anything about the game itself. It s just awesome.
As said in some of the reviews it s not that difficult either once you figured out some tactics.
And IF you happen to be totally unskilled you can still buy a lot of energy tanks and just rush through...

That was mean not to announce a release date though. I almost forgot to look at the WiiWare channel on Friday morning.

I thought the d-pad of the 360controller was quite bad?

It doesn t take very much space compared to other WiiWare (66 blocks +2 for the save, that s just 4 more than Super Mario RPG)

Its kind of a pain, yeah. But I believe that its about the same as the NES D-pad, so thats all good~

That, and the Slide is gone anyway. So the analog stick will be fine.

Tried that when Castle Crashers came out, only to find out they threw it online somewhere in the middle of the day. xD So I just went to school and downloaded it when I got home.

I downloaded it early morning around 9 and it is indeed rock hard which explains a lot about the Japanese Rockman name. :P

So far I only managed to defeat that spaceship boss without losing a life but the rest have been really tough.

As for the 360 controller it works fairly well with the d pad and having the shooting button above the jump makes it easier to shoot off those octopusses in Lady Godiva aka Splash womans level. :P

Yeah, at first that s the easiest boss to beat, BUT I just can t get this guy done in less than 10 seconds!!!!! Annoying!
It s cool that he s so easy to beat though. I really like the Black Hole weapon. It s SO unfair against... well... everything.
