Ok so this is for venting your frustration at games that have annoyed you or have stupid bits in them.
I've only created this as a means to vent myself at Shadow Complex on 360. Im trying to get all the achievements and the last one I need is get to level 50, sounds easy enough right? I must have played this game through about 40million times now and I've only just hit level 45. It's stupid! Why not put an achievement that I can do before I get totally bored with the game, I can literally tell you where every bad guy is, all the collectables, short cuts, tactics.....man Im so sick of playing this over and over and over....
So whats been making you wish you hadn't bought that game you love so much?

I wouldn't go so far as to say I had wished I didn't buy the game/games, but Batman: Arkham Asylum is a real pain in the butt.
Challenge mode all starts off well and good, but later on just gets completely stupid. The challenges are so so hard and frustrating, and when it tells you what's needed to be done in order to get all three stars/batarangs for the mission, it just says a name, so you have no idea how to get them.
Then there's God of War 1; Anyone remember the part (I was on spartan, so may have been really easy on the lower two difficulties) where you have to push a creature up a hill, in a kind of steel cage?
You would start to do it, then a crazy amount of creatures would spawn and damage you, and if you didn't push it up far enough in time (resting it on a rock), all the way back down he would come. ¬_¬
Then there was the room where the floor falls in.....don't clear the enemies from the room fast enough, bye bye Kratos.
Then finally there was the Architect's Tomb. This had moving floors like conveyor belts, and at the end of those conveyor belts were some rather nasty spinning spike walls, which looked a bit like the roller on a steam roller.
Not only did you have this there, but you had an almost endless supply of harpies to deal with, plus archers from all of the most annoying parts of the room, and on every ledge, if you stayed on one to kill an archer for more than 3 seconds, fire would come out and it'd be instant game over.
There were no checkpoints in this room! What a nightmare, it was.

Onimusha 4
There's this rather ridiculous picture puzzle you have to do. About paintings and it's hard to figure out.

you saying about archers, I hate levels in Ninja Gaiden games where theres like 1 dude on the other side of the map who has pinpoint accuracy and can shoot you wherever you are, breaking all your combos against all the tough enemies who are jumping all over you.
PS. I just got to level 50 by playing the first boss over and over, so Im never playing Shadow Complex again unless some DLC comes out which I doubt will ever happen

PSO Episode I&II: OLGA FLOW.
I hate that boss. The second form is the worst as it likes to send out shockwaves that will kill instantly if you're too close to him.
Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Anyone using Cable/Juggernught/Magneto/Sentinal. just plain cheap, also a massively broken game.
Ikaruga. The whole game
The last mission(last part of the mission) in chernobyl in Cod4, i almost cried how hard that was(i played on the highest difficulty). You had to survive like 5 minutes of endless wave of leeroy jenkins soldiers, it took me a week to get pass that part of the level, it was more and more difficult each time i died cause i was loosing my patience.

You're right, those parts we're really annoying, but in a good, way, they were a fun challenge, and gave me the drive to carry on. Unlike some other games that are unbelievably hard for the sake of making the game last longer.
Cars: Race-O-Rama got me raging last week. When you play as Guido (the Italian 3 Wheeled Car) there's this horrible glitch, when going up or down a ramp at an angle one of his front wheels will get jammed under the terrain causing you to spin around uncontrollably. This will happen at least once a lap, causing you to drop down 4 or 5 places. That made the game virtually unplayable for me, I'm waiting for a patch.
Also, it annoyed me in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 that when you start NewGame+ (which is pretty necessary because Chapter 2 is completely different dependent on which side of the Civil War you chose) you can only start on the hardest difficulty, which annoyed me, I wasn't ready for it, I hadn't leveled up as much as I'd liked to, and I wanted to play through on 'Super-Heroic' before 'Legendary', mostly to add another play through and get another 6-8 Hours of game play for my money.
star wars battle front 2. i was flying my plane into somebody's hangar bay and my ship for some reason landed really close to the wall. then when i was ejected, i was cornered and trapped in between the wall and my ship and i couldn't complete the mission!!
in fallout 3. i was almost dead and thought i found a great hiding place from the enemies just a ways off. so i saved. however when i died and respawned, a few seconds later a Yao Guai pounce on me and killed me! i then realised i had saved when it was only 2 meters away! so i had to try about 50 times to try and escape for long enough to save again.
Cod4. if i want to play online i have to wait literally 20 minutes to "download game settings".

going on from that, I went out with Packie once to a pub, as we walked outside Niko does his stumbly thing, only this time he falls down a flight of stairs into the pub cellar. This was most fun as everytime i tried to walk up the stairs his legs would buckle and he'd tumble back down them so I had to wait for about 10 minutes for Niko to 'sober up' so I could get out of this small hole.
In hind sight this is actually hilarious
the most annoying moment i have personally had was when i hit a bug 40 hours into sonic chronicles and couldn't move from the spot i was on. other than that i have played too many bad games to list everything that has narked me off.

Lol, GTA 4 is just hilarious in general. When I first got the game, I decided to go on a free roam, went really really fast, flew out of my wind screen, over the top of a highway, splatted into a billboard (cartoon style), then slid down it and fell into the road. Just before I hit the ground, a lorry came along and went straight into my face, and sent me flying again, back into the same billboard. XD
I died. :(
Abe's Odyssey and the jumping. I could never get used to how slow he jumped, so I always got caught just as I was about to jump...bad times :o
The most annoying for me was more than 10 years ago, in my Pentium 120MHz. I was playing Day of the Tentacle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maniac_Mansion:_Day_of_the_Tentacle) and ended up stuck in the place where there's a thief trying to open a car trunk, never understood what to do in this part. Luckily someone gave me a save from a little bit ahead in the game, so I was able to complete it.
Even today I have no idea on what would be the way of going through that part of the game :bash: Tried to help the thief, to steal his crowbar, to hurt him, nothing worked :(

Ahh, abe´s odyssey, im so proud that i was so far in the game although i was so young, a really hard game indeed, never beaten it

god that game is so hard, >.>
but I think also Metroid Prime 3 the last level is a kick in the ass and the bosshas 3 stages and when you die you go from stage 1 plus your curroption level always go up so yeah.
the random difficulty spikes in the metroid series in general are really quite annoying. that morph ball boss in prime 2 was infuriating.

Yes laugh.
FFVII
*Spoiler Warning* Yes I know but just in case.
In Yuffies village, climbing the mountain to save Yuffie, I always, always got stuck behind the head of the statue. Bad times. Once I was back there for a good 10minutes. :(

That whole section is a bit of pain. The boss cast Aero3 on the whole party at a time when you close to zero magic def. I only survived that bit because on the off chance an enemy dropped an item that is the same as casting shell. Then off course she screws up your materia...
I found the materia keeper and demaon wall bosses really hard. i was stuck on materia keeper for about 3 weeks.........emerald weapon only took about 5 attempts.
I found the demon wall on FF4 harder than the demon wall on FF7. Then again, I always find that whole dungeon hard...damn trap doors.:slamdoor:

Oh, a fellow PSO player! Really, Olga Flow is too easy when compared to Dark Falz. Just get a handgun and shoot him from far away. If you really need to melee him to death, combo once or twice, run to the hills, let him come to you and repeat this till he's dead. At least Olga Flow doesn't have H4X Speed in his second form like Falz does. And God forbid Olga Flow had a planned third form. Falz is a nightmare during the 3rd form. You either die by Grants or my getting one-shoted, lolol. But! I understand your pain.
If I were to remember some of my annoying experiences it would be from PSO and Monster Hunter, really. Like hunting for a specific rare weapon in PSO that only a monster drops, just to have it fool you when it drops a Photon Drop. You go from 'YES' to saying something totally not good when you finally get to see what it was. Yes, a Photon Drop.
And in Monster Hunter. Can you say upswing much? =x That and people consistently hitting you when you're trying to do something productive.

I could always just about handle Dark Falz in 3rd form and the second form was really just about when to move. With plenty of mates and fluids and realising using foie worked even with out a target (although I've been using a FOmar). You had to keep moving with the third form (havijng scape dolls and a good Mag handy helps as well). I've managed to take him upto very hard.
FLOW on the other hand is a pain in the butt.
Photon Drops, I know the feeling.
I just remembered how everything turns against melee players on Very Hard and Ultimate.

wow I havnt played Phantasy Star since the Dreamcast version. I never found it annoying except for the bit where I tried to get the frying pan weapon. It glitched on me and i couldnt do one of the parts in a mission to get it. that frustrated me to no end as my friend begged someone online for his which he then used to taunt me with. Also PKing, the most annoying thing on any online game I have ever experienced. Having some cheating douchebag killing you while your trying to do an honest quest is super infuriating
i played one and two on dreamcast but was put off by the terrible 3rd instalment on gamecube. the ps2 version and the PSP departure games were quite good. haven't played the current gen versions though as my RPG needs have been filled by CHrono trigger DS and Crisis core recently

theres a demo on the xbox for PSO but upon installing it and going online with it i found that most people just want to sell pictures of themselve naked on it rather than go on quests. Thats what I found anyways
That'd be Phantasy Star Universe, I'm afraid. PSO official servers, unfortunately, have died. However, with the official death of PSO servers that gave birth to private PSO servers and there's still a handful of people that play on them on a daily basis.
I've managed to take him upto very hard.
That's the thing. Falz gets really hard on Ultimate. Very Hard is just a small taste of what awaits you in Ultimate. Falz 2nd Form gets super speed. I dare say it's almost like a teleport. And the 3rd form. Well, if you're not being one hit killed by his Slash motion, things is Grants will kill you. Unless you rack up on the Light Resistance. Not to mention he has tons of HP. A full party could take a bit to kill him. If they don't die all at once that is.
I just remembered how everything turns against melee players on Very Hard and Ultimate.
Actually, it's how everything turns against Forces on Ultimate. You have to switch between techniques a lot since most monsters are only weak to a specific technique on Ultimate. Hunters and Rangers, however, have it easy, they don't have to worry about elemental damage, unlike Forces who depend on it.
Top on my list is Tekken 5. The first Tekken I bought. Being chilled it's so easy that it makes me play smooth until I fall asleep, and other times I appearantly got incapable to move - applying that what I learned? Not so far ... how whence ...?
The next was... maybe Black and White, for I accidentially killed someone and nothing could have ever been done from stopping the castle to grow evil. - and my animal was bright shining.
OK, Zelda Master Quest ... first in Dodongos cave I totally missed the point ... and later :mad:I didn't know where to find the Mirror Shield ... however.
OK, and yet - F-Zero GX, for it's superbe super trashy mega-inconvenient "Super" Courts ... they got so fancy, where the heck was the fun at driving? A few were really fun, ... but uagh...... help ... and then... uaaaaaaaaaaagh... help.
Oh, X-Com Apocalypse. I played it until I was in the Alien World, and then realized that I hadn't shot a Ufo of Type 2 down, so I couldn't build a ship to transport my people there ... bad is that ... and all back from one? Noooooooooooooo.... (Although it's the Killer with Thriller ... uh.. Beat it... rocking a Ufo ... yeah!=...)
... any more? ... (Marvel vs) Street Fighter (Alpha 2 Gold) cause it sucks to have no one around that playing is fun with - and when, time passes by so fast.
OK, and Smash Bros Melee once playing against: F R E A K Z ... I used to be one of the VERY BEST ... of those I knew, then I stopped playing for a while, and the others had it yet somewhere ... and everytime I had to realize that they are NOT Human anymore ... ops, the Game is still fun (I mean, like ... and always!).
Some Sonic on Game:mad: Cube that wasn't really sonic fun but ... I should've bought ....
(PS: The first Demon Wall in FFXII, Invincible - till you figure out you could just run to that door at the end of that bridge and escape...!)

kay i have a new annoyance that im experiencing right this second. PS3 update....it's taking freakin aaaaaagggggggeeeeeesssssss!!!! been sitting here browsing a couple boards and its only just hit 41%
