Vote now in one of the biggest award shows of the year where gaming is concerned.
Capcom, unfortunately, only have one nomination:
Best Fighting Game: Street Fighter IV

I expect Uncharted 2 to clean up pretty much.
Well, that was hard.
Sometimes the choice was too hard because the had multiple good titles, other times, it was hard because they had multiple bad titles.
But either way, I was honest in my choices, voted mostly for Uncharted and Batman Arkham Asylum, as well as stuff I have actually played.
Oh and I gave SFIV a vote.
I hate it when unreleased games are nominated as games of the year. I'm anticipating a couple of games, will they deliver? I don't know.

Yea, it's a pretty stupid idea. It'd make more sense for them to keep the votes based on current games that are actually out. If they did that, people would actually know what the games are like, and can vote accordingly, as they've experienced it theirself!
There's more on that site that doesn't make sense.
The "best *console* game" category having multi-console games like Arkham Asylum for starters,
or the above mentioned games that haven't been released yet.
Spike, you know what to do to fix it next year. ;)

I'm a bit miffed that D.C Douglas/Albert Wesker wasn't up for best male voice/character voice, as the performance in Resident Evil 5 was one of the best for a villain I've seen (up there with Liquid Ocelot for best villain of all time IMO). Resident Evil 5 was also a superb multiplayer title.
I have no reservations about Street Fighter IV winning best fighting title. While I haven't played it to the degree of knowing it inside out, it was the best received title in the genre this year.

I wished Video Game Awards had a thing like the emmys or oscars I think its kida annoying that there are 1 000 000 of pages and some people on certen sites get drunk and vote for the fun of it :p
but then again everyone of us can make up a list of top ten games :D
sorry I am so negative to this.
Im really suprised and actually impressed with spikes impartiallity that the ufc game didnt make it into their shortlist, i thought the fact that the ufc made spike and that they were really pushing their game would of made it a shoe in for victory, i bet DW's not happy, still whenever is he? ;-p
Sorry, Capcom, but my fighter of the year vote went for someone else! : < I'll still buy SSFIV, tho! Does that still make us friends? :<
