After the release of the Resident Evil films, many
were left feeling hard done by, by the fact that it
was so far from the general concept of what was
Resident evil; Convoluted story, no Chris Redfield,
no Hunters, Jill Valentine poorly represented etc. I
hope to remedy this with my current work.
Resident Evil: the TV series is a true
representation of the franchise for the fans, by the
fans. The story will follow the game without moving
from the formula. But as well as retelling the
story, the series wil fill in the blanks from the
series. This will include the first murders of the
outbreak, the cover up, the commuters of the
Ecliptic Express and many more.
The first season will follow Resident evil 0 and
REmake, but after that i will closely follow the
outbreak itself and not just that of the games,
creating several unique and original stories.
I've dedicated a lot of time and effort into
producing the scripts, but it's going to get nowhere
without fan support. So here are some links for
anyone interested to join to let all fans dreams be

Oh, I was worried when I saw the title...

Don't say "TV", say "FAN"

Yeah it cut the link in half for some reason. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Resident-Evil-The-TV-Series/112552680806

Hope that works this time!

I'm very much interested in an actual TV series. I've been writing since the age of four. I have no intention of making a "Fan show." I genuinely have grander plans. Some Belgian film writer offered me a bit of money to produce this, but I have Genuinely much higher plans for the script, I just need the fanbase to grow before I start actually trying to get published (This is why i said TV and not Fan).
I pretty much gave up work to follow, an admittedly-pretty damn high dream. But after the blowout from the fans over the films, I know for a fact I can provide more of a fan service than Anderson.
I research every character, the science behind every creation and even down to making sure any radio or newspaper used, is genuinely from Raccoon City (Check the third episode I've written for in depth detail).
So yeah, by no means a dead cert, but it's something I work hard for, and a TV series is a missed opportunity.

ps What competition? lol

Tried to join that site, it said the board administrator isn't accepting any new registrations at the mo :)

ps What competition? lol

Oh, that would be over at http://www.lutomes.com/capcom/index.php.
The competition has ended now though...you can still join over there. Get a bit more publicity etc.

It's worth noting that your "big plans" will be cut very short unless you get permission from Capcom themselves.

Fair Use would not cover this.

However, if you truly want to go through with it, a good place to check for good sources of information is here:

I'm well aware of the legalities and do intend going through Capcom, but without a fanbase, any plans I make amount to nothing. In this day and age, having a good idea isn't enough. A person can have a genius idea, but without a gameplan, they fall by the wayside.
The scripts have had positive feedback (The third I'll admit, isn't on par with the other 2, but it's more of a bridge episode, setting up for the bigger stuff), and i genuinely feel that they can do well. In fact my whole reason for choosing this forum is to maybe cut out the middle ground if anyone at Capcom sees, before i go on my little advertising spree early next year.

I'm curious as to how you plan to pull this off.

Do you have an editor? director? cast? budget? legal department? equipment? areas to film in? Special effects crew?

Have you wrote anything else? Do you have ties to the industry? Any qualifications?

Lol i think you GROSSLY overestimate what I'm doing... strange as it's usually the opposite!
I'm not some massive mego-conglomerate hoping to dominate you TV schedule with my masses of money and superior marketing skills! I'm simply... a writer. just one with ideas, hoping to get noticed and wanting to get somewhere with it. If I had all of the above, then why would i be coming on forums asking for a fan base? I'd have gone to Capcom a long time ago with my script! LOL
A wise man once said "Nothing is unattainable. Your dreams may seem impossible, but it's already yours. All you have to do is reach out and take it."
Sorry did I say wise man? I meant me lol wrote it in my son's birthday card... of course he's three, so in hindsight, I probably should have left those pearls of wisdom until he was old enough to read LOL.
Anywho, I'm saying i know I'm chasing the impossible dream, and boy do I know I'm risking a lot putting so much effort into something like this. But J.K. Rowling wrote Harry Potter on a napkin or whatever on the train.... that guy who sold pixels.... now rich! Anything is possible, this is just something i want.
I was having a book published on 'Parallel Cognitive Subversity' but TBH the subject matter bored me and i quickly got embroiled in my script writing. I have one as yet unconfirmed celebrity interested in my writing, and is willing to give me an inside step inside the industry if i can just get a few more scripts done, and some sort of 'Promo' to catch people's eyes before he starts putting his name to it, so I'm not exactly confident of success... but do i think I'm better than Anderson...? Yeah! :)

*Takes a bow, goes all Halle Berry, as people throw roses at his feet* ;)
