Hello. I am a fan of the series. I loved the first three games PW1,2 and 3 but didnt like AJ as much as I didnt like the story as much nor apollo as a main character.

the point of this topic is to see who else would love to see a wii version of the phoenix wright games?

it would contain the same good story line and characters but with more interaction.

examples would be;

using the wiimotes to shouts OBJECTION (pushing it forward) or HOLD IT (bringing it down)

using the wiimotes during the investigations ( moving it around the screen pressing buttons, clicking or turning depending on whats happening)

other features I would like to see are:

more open ended cases (meaning being able to present more than one piece of evidence to continue if relevent)

making the turnabouts linked game-wise (meaning you continue onto the next case even if your client is found guilty and after 5 cases you get a grade depending on how well youve done)

well what do you guys think?

Due to the text-heavy nature of the game I dont think it would catch on. Apart from the fact that reading large blocks of text is very tiring on a CRT screen there is also the issue of making time to play this game.
I play PW when Im on the train (I commute daily) for example, while others would read or listen to music. I do play games when Im at home in the evening (a lot even), but this is one of those games that just feels better on a handheld (readability mainly).

Multiple-ended cases might actually not be a bad idea, though at the end of each case it should be clear what kind of ending you got. You could maybe have 5 different endings for the same scenario (the path you take depends on the answers/questions you give), thus improving the replay value of the game.

In the states Capcom did a Harvey Birdman - Attorney at Law game for the Wii, but from what I see on gamerankings, it wasnt that popular with the critics. Add in bad sales figures and thats probably why they dont even bother with a European release.

I think an Ace Attorney Trilogy on the Wii could be very good though. They should make a good transfer from the DS, just like Trauma Center did for example.
