Just wondering cause I thought that was the Arcade build at the expo.

I'm sure they've only used Wii versions at gaming events so far. An arcade release would be nice though.

Technically speaking,

I don't think there IS an arcade release for the game in the western world.
To explain this, you have to look at the tiny fact that there are actually TWO Tatsunoko vs Capcom games:

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom: Cross generation of heroes.
This was the original TvC game, released in Japanese arcades, and later on the console.
It includes a few things that won't make it into the US/EU release, the most obvious being Hakushon Daimao (the genie) not being in the game because of licensing issues.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-stars.
The US/EU edition of the game, which will just be released on consoles, and not on arcade. It includes new characters like Frank West, Joe the Condor, tekkaman Blade and Zero.

Short version: Nope, you didn't play the arcade version at the expo. ;)
The original Japanese game on Wii wasn't the arcade version either, since it included new characters like Saki, Ippatsuman and Viewtiful Joe.

Well you couldn't change your characters... ah well.

I know there is already an arcade version CGH but since UAS is updated and all I thought they could release an Arcade version too.

They can import it if they want, exactly how they did originally for SFIV and Tekken 6 but, it's not worth it since the Wii version has more to offer. It was so much fun on the arcades (in Japan) *sigh*.
