The PlayStation 3 may follow in the Xbox 360 and Nintendo DSi's footsteps, adding Facebook integration to the console's Cross Media Bar, according to reportedly leaked images from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

Whilst I don't really care about consoles integrating Facebook, Last.fm, Twitter etc. (Though Mrs. Avatar loves iPlayer on PS3).
I am excited about the prospect of Gamercards on PS3 though - that would be awesome.

The only way I shall ever care about PSN updates is if Sony streamline the chat/message feature. Why has no one incorporated Beyond Good & Evil's text wheel yet?!

facebook should just stay on computers. you dont need a dumbed down version that doesnt work on your console...
also twitter is just rubbish. If i want to stalk people Ill use my binoculors and my step ladder
