I got told by a bunch of people that Dead Rising 2 is gonna be set in Vegas?
Story Ideas guys??
I reckon Frank got rich and went to Vegas
and it FOLLOWED him!!!!! Dum Dum Dummm!
There hasnt been any annoucement on a sequel, I wonder where that bunch of people would have got their info from :d
The answer is thats unfounded rumours ;)
Dont think Vegas would have worked anyway.

Ye well... do u think a Dead Risin 2 would work ? The same game just in another location ? In the DR2 ideas topic others and me had some good ideas, without somethin new DR2 would be bad. And in vegas hmmm, zombies in the casinos ? Not a really great invention lol. I doubt that there will be DR2 before the release of DR1 on Wii.
Just sounds like a zombie fan has been watching too much Resident Evil: Extinction and has access to a computer.
I dont see how it would work, there would be no variety of weapons, psychopaths or missions.

Yes Dead Rising 2 would work if you played and understood the first one as it does actuly have a Story if you follow the game and missions which many didnt.
Dead Rising Wii is due Autum so of caurse DR2 wont be befor that :lol:
Seen loads of ideas for DR2 lots good lots bad.
Vegas may work but Im fed up of Vegas lol
As long as it adds to the stroy I guess i realy dont care where it set.

Just to point something out to the naysayers:
RE2, RE and Code Veronica are near enough exactly the same as RE1. For the most part, they are set in the same location, have the same sorts of enemies, and offer the same sorts of weapons...yet all of them are great games.
If DR2 ever does come out, and it offers near enough exactly what DR1 offered, but with a few tweaks (new location, new weapons, characters, and maybe some new enemies), it would probably go down just as well as DR1 did.

well... i like Willamette because it sounds strange. Oh and- ive seen these kinds of rumors before whilst waiting for a game... and you know what, we believed them and they were wrong!
