This whole thing has gotten out of hand.
Complaining about 25 spelling mistakes is silly enough, I don't think Gordon Brown should have gotten involved.

Now this crazy woman is using it as an excuse to attack him over equipment for troops. When are people going to realise that becoming a soldier means risking your life? Even the best equipment is not going to save you from being blown up.

Then she said "if one of your children died, god forbid"... uh yeah, one of his kids is dead. Nice one crazy woman.

Hmmm, sorry, I'm not up to date with this I believe.

Care to expand a bit further what this is about? I'm guessing it's mostly concerning English or American people, but I can't just "google it" as I normally would.

The whole thing has been cynically used by the Sun to try and outrage their reader base after they switched their support to the Tories. That's tabloid journalism for you, absolutley worthless. Sad thing is these trash newspapers are the country's biggest opinion formers. I weep for the future :(

The poor lady is just venting her grief really. Everyone handles a tragic loss in different ways. Some people cry and cry, others get angry and go on a crusade. The truth is that GB probably doesn't even write the letters himself. They are probably written by a secretary and then just signed by him.

Gordon does deserve a good kicking though. He's always strangely absent whenever there is bad news about Afghanistan or any hard decisions are announced. He's a gutless prime minister and deserves to be ousted.

Also, you spelled the lady's name wrong. Her surname is "Janes". Talk about teh ironics :p

That was deliberate :P

Jarlino; the prime minister wrote a letter of condolence to a woman who's son died in afganistan and she had a good old rant because it contained spelling mistakes.
