Hey everyone!
As kind of promised, I've decided to make a topic to set up some games throughout the week on both PS3 and 360.
I need to have a word with Chris, but I was going to put him in charge of the 360 side of things, whilst I'll be setting up the PS3 game nights. ;)
I feel that it should be a community decision about what games we all play throughout the week, and obviously it'll be helpful if you can all tell me what days you're free to participate, if you so choose to.
As far as PS3 games go, so far I was thinking of some games with the following titles:
Call of Duty: World at War - Nazi Zombies
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
Killzone 2
Little Big Planet
Metal Gear Solid Online
Uncharted 2

Unfortunately my PS3 is still out of action, so I won't be there for it, but please play together and enjoy your games, anyway. :)

Plus, I'm open for suggestions with what everyone else would like to play. Whether or not this consists of some fun games of Red Faction Guerilla, or maybe even some furious racing with Burnout Paradise, I'll leave this entirely up to you.
I was planning on making up some kind of timetable/schedule which shows what games are going on every day, and at what time etc. Once I know what everyone would like to do/play, I can then edit my first post, and put it in big for you all to see. This means all you need to do is check the first post, and then you'll automatically know where to be at what time. ;)
I heard JDK wanted to set up a few Resi games of Versus mode, so that one I'll leave to him. However, if you feel like playing some team up games of Merc's, I'm also fine with this.
For now, I would just like to know which games you would all like to play the most. Once I've gotten a fair share of replies, I can then go on to arranging the times and days of this.
Chris wanted to do a topic which could be in association with this, which regards trophies and achievements.
I'll speak to him about it, but if you would like to have some help getting trophies or achievements, I'm sure we could include something in these gaming nights that would help you out with that.
Anyway, let the suggestions begin! :)

THIS WEEK ON 360: LOST PLANET
Okay so this week I figured we could play Lost Planet, seeing as how it's leading up to the christmas party and the start of December, I figured we could have some multi-player action running about in the snow seeing as how we dont have any outside to play in for real
My other reason for suggesting this is that for our first game I figured we'd play something made by Capcom and I don't have Resident Evil 5 (maybe Cortez could arrange that one....wink wink) and I'm getting sick of being shot to death and losing every MW2 game I seem to play recently

Well, no Modern Warfare 2 at the minute, as the friend invite option doesn't work.
Apparently infinity ward are on it, and hopefully it'll be fixed soon, but it's quite annoying.

I am interested too for ps3 sessions, would love to play with some more people online.

Nah, everyone with a PS3 seems to be having that problem......also, trophies are broken, and I've gotten through three chapters, and smashed someone with a riot shield, and go no trophies for any of it.
Couldn't even get online earlier, so I think the servers must have been down or something. Hmm.

what a shame that PS3 sucks, you should have got it on xbox as all the achievements and multiplayer work perfectly! Just goes to show that maybe it's not such a bad idea to charge a small amount to have an online gaming comunity such as live.
Back on topic....Im thinking we could stick to 1 game per week as it gives everyone a chance to get on at some point.
Anyone reading this, I'm gonna be on MW2 for the most part of the forseable future, at least until Assassins Creed II comes out. If you want to party up with me then send me a game invite and I'll be more than happy to come play. Looking for some help with special ops too! (I have the 360 version)

yeah i got it. im pretty tired tonight, had a 5am start and Im in need of some shut eye. If your on tomorrow ill give you a game or two...or 11
yeah im nackered too, i only just got the game a couple of hours ago, i havent even tried it yet but tomorrow night is MW2 night for me so we can deffinetly get at least one game in, would be nice to do team deathmatch with a capcom europe team vs theme, hopefully we should be able to get another couple of people on ;-D

kay Im giving this a kick start, check out the second post for all news on the gaming front for next week on xbox 360. Ill be selecting a title each week for everyone to get in on and hopefully we can start something beautiful!!
Hopefully Cortez should be back on PS3 again soon so he can start doing his bit...as for now Im gonna drop him a message so he can change his first post so other on PSN can get in on some community gaming goodness
oh and just so you know, modern warfare 2 is always gonna have people on it, so we can always play that at any point, if people could tell me good times that they can be on for at least one big get together that would be great. Im free most evenings as my work is pretty much 9-5. I was gonna suggest thursday at around 7-half 7 if people can get on for then

I should be on both Live and PSN more from this week,(after my game with Jarl and other freinds it left my arm a little sore) but I can't do Thursdays as the Wife is out at collage and I have to look after the children.

I am more than willing to throw down. The only games I have from your list though are littlebigplanet (although I have to start that again), MG:O and Killzone2. I have been fighting buying MW2 with a passion but if it takes over I will cave I guess.

i'd really like it to work too! Im not sure about getting them stickey'd unless a kind hearted mod would like to step to the plate :D I could create another thread too but I figured we could just share one. I'll do it anyways and then we shall see who has the popularity!

yeah well we was running a vote on the game you want this week and whatever people want to play can be put forward. doesnt always have to be multiplayer, we could do stuff like achievement/thropies races. see who can get the most points in the quickest time or something
oh yea, that sounds actually like a good idea, gives you a little bit of a challenge.
Can't wait 'til finally get Gold again.

I might play Killzone 2 at some point, but at the minute I'm really wanting to put Borderlands up for game of the week/fortnight.
It's a really great game, and if you have it on PS3, I'm up for a game.
I play as Mordecai, and only played it yesterday for the first time, but am level 16 now. So so good. :D

I won't be playing tonight, but I'll be on it at some point tomorrow hopefully. If not, I'll set a game up on here for about two weeks straight, so we'll definitely get some games in. ;)
I was playing for 5 hours straight today (only tried split screen so far), and it's really good fun. Sucks about weapons though, as it's first come first serve, so one person could end up with a stack of rad weapons, and someone else have just basic or poo weapons.
I always give my items away if someone needs them, before I sell them.
Such good fun though! I didn't think t'd interest me much, and bought it for the sake of it looking alright, and being in a deal of the day on play.com for £17.99, and I really have been surprised by how cool and fun it actually is.
Only downer is unlike Fallout, you can't change clothes or what you look like, but that's just a minor issue.

The thing you spoke of on msn? I dunno, but I'm not interested in rushing through it, haha. I've only just got it, and to me it feels a little like Fallout, so I'd like to take my time with it.

yeah the MSN conversation we had....I don't even have the game yet, christmas present remember. So in the new year, if anyone wants to play the game again but with some capcomites and have a see who can get furthest in a week or something. We'll make some rules, like there has to be at least 2 people in any party so me hosting xbox and cortez hosting PS3 and then one other person. Obviously someone else on here would have to have access to the game on either platform

Ah, I won't be racing through. I'm game for teaming up with people and trophy hording, mind. ;)
I can do it myself, but it's more fun with somebody else. Just don't steal my weapons. :p
If I play online, and weapons that are found are lower than what I currently use, take them by all means, but I will want the leftovers, so I can sell them for money. I think that's a fair deal. :)
I have $40,000 at the moment, on it.
I can't play tonight until about 10pm or so, as I'm seeing a friend, but if you don't mind playing that late, I'm sure I can play with you for a little while. ;)

That's a good game for it, since it supports four players at a time, and honestly....in the past two weeks, it's been two or three people online at the agreed time.
But I stopped playing Borderlands somewhere at the start, because I wanted someone to play with. ;D

sorry i didn't notice this topic earlier but i was studying intensely for finals.
i would of replied earlier but.....
i am up for anything on the ps3! well.... i don't have killzone 2, MGS, Uncharted 2, borderlands, call of duty: world at war......
but the RE5 and MW2 is fine by me! (little big planet isn't so good online)
i will be free from saturday on since it will be the winter break! if anyone wants to play now just ask. :)
or i can just sit out this week because i don't have borderlands...

I was playing with ShadowRep the other day, and we blazed through the Gulag mission on Spec-op's. Did it in 40 seconds lol. Madness!

I'm like level 30 atm, but haven't touched it since Assassins Creed 2 has been in my PS3, as I just can't get enough of it. :D
About a third of the way through the story, and have like 12 hours clocked up so far, with only 2 more seals to find, 1 model to get (what are they? I don't remember finding the first), 7 more codex pages to get, and 74 more feathers to get.
Really enjoying it so far though, and I have half of the trophies already. Only about 4 of the trophies that I need are optional things. The rest are story essential "checkpoint trophies".

Hello Everyone. Is anyone up for some MW2 spec ops missions tonight? I am looking to get the Platinum for this game, so am planning to do them from the very first one through, aiming for 3 stars every time. If this is something your willing to be part of let me. I've completed the Marine and Alien campaigns, but still need to start the Predator one. Also, I need your help finding the last 3 Clap Traps in Borderlands, Dragon. :)

Apologies, Borderlands I can most definitely do. Might have to think about where they are for a bit though lol. But I have traded AvP in. After completing it I found the online section very frustrating. Managing to get about 10 games in over a 4 day period. Waiting 30 odd minutes to find a game just for everyone else to leave just after it starts. Also survivor mode which I was hoping would be its saving grace throughly disappointed me. If you haven't been online yet, I would recommend not doing so, as it will only cheapen your experience of the game.
