It's not entirely certain if this is officially Mila Jovovich yet, but if it is...it gives some interesting details about Afterlife.

Such as The Executioner as a character/enemy in the film. Sounds like he'd be based on the RE5 enemy.

i thought that the next movie was going to be a reboot, but looks like they're still going to go after wesker in alaska. oh well, the movie sounds amazing.
it definiteally got my hopes up, and no matter what ill buy it on blu-ray :)
Resident evil, no matter how lacking the story is, they always make up for it in action scenes!

She seems to be addicted to Twitter now with the amount of updates, heh.

It's definitely her Twitter, as she was talking about the ship scene with Ali and Wentworth before images of said scene even leaked.

She also mentioned her and the other characters running and shooting at Wesker, so I wonder how battling him will unfold.

The Resident Evil 5 influences are definitely incoming, with the Executioner and ship environment. Shame it has to be tainted by the horrible clone sub-plot, sigh.

I'm really disappointed that it's fallen for the current 3D fad, I can't stand 3D

Filming in 3D is beneficial to the quality of the film and how it's presented (whether or not you enjoy the film aside). She echoes this statement on her Twitter. In 3D, you can see more than you would with standard presentation. Whether or not you actually watch it in 3D however, doesn't detract from the added effort and realism that has gone in to it being filmed in 3D.

While it may be a "fad" to some people, there's a level of film-making that ties in to it which only the most talented of direction could achieve in 2D presentation. You can get away with shoddy motion and spacial awareness in 2D presentation. If you're not aware of it, fine, but if you are - even in this type of film - then you know you've got a dud on your hands. With 3D, more work is required to get a convincing result.

3D is the future in film-making, to put it bluntly. You gotta' be on the ball a lot more if you want to have a well-made product. I'm sure we'll see 3D duds along the way but that comes with the territory.

"The fight is Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves r taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans."

Considering the big tanker seems to be a big environment for the cast (going by her tweets and screenshots), I'd assume that they'll pull everything from the tanker battle with Wesker in RE5.

With technology today, I'm sure they'll do his Matrix moves justice. Somewhat excited now, despite the fact that I'm sure Alice will prevail (unfortunately).

I enjoy how the movies and games barrow from each other. Even though the stories are way different at least they're keeping some similarities.

I'm really disappointed that it's fallen for the current 3D fad, I can't stand 3D

I second that. Especially with horror movies. I'll probably wait for this to come out on DVD and rent it so I can watch it without the 3D.
