Thought I would give it a try. Dont really see much of a difference. Other than it makes playing videos (for me at least) a battle.
Ill let you beta test it until its fixed :P

Well you lot have some patience, dont you?
I downloaded it today. Seems quite cute, though Im a bit puzzled as to why it doesnt have an Open command in the menu for opening local web pages and other files like the other browsers have. One thing I do like about it, however, is the minimalism of the browser head and its atypical design generally.
I look forward to Google developing it a bit more.

I do have patience. But I knows what I like. And I like what I knows.
The main reasion i deleted it was due to the reasion it took for ever to load pages up and its very basic compared to FireFox 3

Had no home page button. And the lack of the regular tool bars fustrated me. Plus the dropdown box for URLs seemed extremely clustered.

Even more data, huh.
I didnt have any of those issues, myself. The thing opens up a page google generates for you when you open a new empty tab, which I personally find more handy than a homepage. Not to mention the fact that your address bar automatically googles your entry if it doesnt find a website.
Youre the first person I hear complain about speed though, Spike. Its been twice as fast as Firefox is for me.
Heads up guys:
If you decide to opt for the beta improvement by sending crash statistics:
Information thats sent to Google includes crash reports and statistics on how often you use Google Chrome features. When you choose to accept a suggested query or URL in the address bar, the text you typed and the corresponding suggestion is sent to Google. Google Chrome doesnt send other personal information, such as name, email address, or Google Account information.
This should be ok if you access known pages, but be careful not to accidentally click on anything thats illegal as it will send data to google on crashing and could get you in trouble as it does send the URL.
And a reliable source tells me that should you upload images, Google will own copyright over that image unless its copyrighted by a third party, so be careful when uploading artwork and images, be sure to use another browser for that.

Firefox works fine. Other browsers are slow, unsafe and buggy. After reading your replies, i predict that Chrome is just another Opera clone.

Heh. Sounds like something Virgin would think of doing...
They fixed that now, your soul no longer belongs to google.
Its safe to upload images now, they altered the user agreement.
