View Full Version : Old games and Import Games in profile ...
I was just wandering. In my profile I can add games... but not ALL games. Why can't I add (this one is simple) my japanese Import for Streetfighter for the GBA. (you're going to answer that is is in Japanese..., but still I do have it). But the first one is not the worst. I can't even add my Streetfighter 2 turbo... which has to be like the most worshiped 2D fighting game for the snes and for some (I think even for alot of people)it still is.... (and there I am once again still not talking about the JP import version of it...) It can't be a really hard thing to implement, simply adding them to the database would suffice. Or does the fact that these games are from the older gen. of consoles make them less appealing to promote. As a game collector in general I think it is a shame that such high rated games have just "disappeared" from everybody's mind. They are often what started it all, I think that a company such as Capcom should not forget their flagship games of the past. (most of us certainly haven't) Another thing that caught my attention is that there are no game covers in the database for quite some games.
I thought the same thing. I'd love to have the box art for all of the games I have in my profile (even if it is the US version).
Also, I was surprised that I couldn't add most of my Gamecube Resident Evil collection.

While it's cool to sow what you've got, I'd rather the team worked on some new things for the forum rather than going back and filling in a couple of little gaps.
I've got a few preowned games marked incorrectly a few times. Games that should've been 7.97 but instead were marked as 1.97

I would love to add resident evil 1,2,3 and super street fighter 2 turbo HD remix - its a new game and its not in games list, why?
EDIT: Oh yeah, and megaman 9 - that just blows my mind why its not there

It's certainly not a complaint from any of us. This is a forum to "report problems and make suggestions". We are simply suggesting that the Games Collection part of the forum to be updated and fully implemented, it feels so... half-finished
Maybe old games will be added over time but i doubt imports will be.

With other company's publishing them their could be copyright issue's similar to the problems in getting RE1,2,3 ect on PSN.
You have to remember in Europe Capcom have only over the last 4 years or so been publishing their own games in Europe, before they used 3rd party publisher's so their could be a legal technicality stopping them doing this.
Again this is only speculation.
But yes it would be nice to have them.
