 Seriously? I think anyone who can go without food in favour of a game needs a different kind of help...

Ridiculous.
Addiction is addiction. The actual games have little to do with it all.
If you're going to become addicted to something, you'll get addicted to it. Ofcourse, if you also happen to like VideoGames, then you'll likely get addicted to those.
I see little need to specialise or focus a rehab clinic, when it would be much smarter to have specialised areas within the clinic...much like a Hospital...
This is true, it's not necessarily an addiction to games, so much as either a developed or existing mental condition associated with compulsive behaviour, of course it's going to call itself "Game rehab", it gets better press that way.
I really thought it was a joke at first, or at least I hoped, but there are still those out there who insist on losing themselves so much that they get in to physical and mental trouble with it.
My sister in law is addicted to gaming, she often goes with out food. But that down to her not wanting to leave the room as she plays with her boyfriend and it's the only time they get a chance to be together till he visits her.
Not being nasty to her though she does need to loose a fair bit of weight as she is really obese.
I may email that link to her
I was so really addicted to games when I was in High School, I stayed in days without food. What did it give, destroied social life but made me slim (I was really fat before).

If anyone ever feels the need to quit gaming, go play 'Cars: Race-O-Rama', it's the most frustratingly glitchy game ever, enough to put anyone off gaming for life!

I'm pretty much agreeing with TZM.
There's not much pointing forking out a crazy amount of money for a clinic which helps gamers to get over their addiction, when there are already hospitals and clinics all over the country, which could easily have allocated sections for every type of addiction there is, with the staff to follow, knowing how to deal with these things.
Drugs are an addiction. Alcohol is an addiction. Many things are an addiction, but all addictions are usually dealt with in the same way, and don't really need a specialised clinic to deal with it.
Ah well, more money wasted.
I wonder how they get them un-addicted? Possibly make them play leisure suit larry?
And to be honest sometimes when I am gaming I forgot to eat but then who doesn't? I just don't feel hungry when I am that focused on something.

 Strange, it remind me the case of a Chinese girl who died after being playing a few days in a row... Those really need help.
