I know that everyone on these forums are soooooo much better at the game than me so can somebody tell me how to kill Lao Shan?
Ive heard that fire weapons are good but apart from that, how do you get cannon S to the guns without being attacked by ioprey and so on?

Is this the Urgent Lao or the nub version of it? if your fighting the HR 2 one use Wyvern Blade Fall and attack its belly.
If your fighting the urgent Lao use a Hammer like Anvil Hammer and hit Its belly for a repel then upgrade to onslaught hammer for kills.
Yes Its the nub version Lvl 4 (go on, mock me!) If youre saying Wyvern Blade Fall because its fire element, Ive got better weapons than you think. Id rather use Saber. And by the way, I dont like many hammers. Theyre way too slow for me.

I wrote that the Hr 2 Lao is the nub Lao not the urgent one. And you need to unlock the HR 2 one to make Fire Dragon Sword You need to clear all the HR 1-2 guild hall quests.
I know I had already unlocked it but I couldnt kill it. Before writing this I went on You-Tube and looked at a LS guide so I can probably defeat it with both of you helping me.

Remember Raw > Element in most cases on MH games. And stay in the middle part between his legs and belly and you should score a repel, Cannon S sucks just use the balista shot when it hits area 5.

Eternal Shism on the head. Easy repell / kill. With a strong weapon it doesnt matter where u hit, he will die easily, also Ryuu only talkin about hammers again XD

I used your info and now Ive beaten it (not killed, just scared off).
Now Im stuck at the Shen Gaoren to get to G Rank. Any help?

Pick one leg and hit it with your best weapon, when it falls hit its body rinse and repeat. And wear some anti quake armour Blango armour has the skill.

Ive tried lao shan with loads of things and I cant seem to beat him. I prefere sns, and I am trying to kill him for azure ogre sward and armour (I already have blue ogre sword) I have been told blazing falchion is good but any better sns?

If your farming Lao for Rubies Id use Onslaught and 3 hit combo its belly.

NO dont use Onslaught Hammer on the Belly..... Dont listen to Ryuu :dead: Gettin a ruby has nothin to do about how u kill lao. Just use ur strongest weapon so u can kill him easily. It is the Eternal Shism in Freedom 2, not 1 hammer can get near it. Ryuu just mentions hammers all the time cause he cant play with other weapons.
no probs Ive beaten both versions now, and Shen Gaoren. Im finally G rank after all this time. Does anyone know the easiest way to get elder dragon blood cause I want Fire Dragonsword and Ive killed god knows how many chameleos

Before i help u , there is no G-rank in MHF2, only in 2nd G :d
For ancient dragon blood, go n kill Kusharu. You get the most out of him. Teo or Nana would be the 2nd solution. Even lao drops em sometimes.
