What like science scientists? As in sciencetists?
There is apparantly a cancer-proof hairless rat too!

Is the lack of hair a side effect of cancer proofing or did they specifically design their rodent to be impervious to tumours whilst being silky smooth?

Personally, I immac all of my test subjects :P

I think the lack of hair is incidental. They have some dual-layer defence.

It is in its natural biological state, rather than chemically enhanced. (http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20327267.300-naked-mole-rats-may-help-cure-cancer.html) As soon as cancerous cells cluster together and reach a certain size: it has a built in defense that surrounds the cancerous cells and contains them; thus, not allowing them to spread further.
