Capcoms John Diamonon said : "Don t worry. We re working on something for you US Monster Hunter fans."
So this could mean that PS3 gets a MH3 port, or a new MH game.

No one knows, it wont be Frontier though. Maybe we get more infos in the next weeks.

Monster Hunter Frontier has been released one year ago and i really dont think the USA gets it now as they getting games around 4 months later after its been released in Japan.

The Beta was released for Korea. But if u think a bit, Korea = Asia. MH Frontier, asia only.

Ugh, please Capcom dont port MH 3. I would rather see a new game made to take advantage of the PS3s powah.

if it turns out true will it be on 360 as well?
My main problem is will they turn the PS3 servers off like they did with the ps2 due to not being popular?
At least with the 360 it runs through live which means the only way not to play it online is for live to close down.

More speculation and rumors from the PSBlog. Capcom s John Diamonon replied to users asking questions about "Bionic Commando Rearmed", "Dead Rising", and just Capcom in general. As we all know, Monster Hunter 3 was moved from the PS3 to the Wii, to which everyone, even Wii fans, were stunned. This left a sour taste in the mouth of Monster Hunter fans, but it looks like Capcom may be changing its tune.
Responding to a comment about Monster Hunter jumpig ship John replied "Don t worry. We re working on something for you US Monster Hunter fans." US? What could that mean? A possible planned Japan only release? Well, until something more concrete is confirmed, this is nothing but speculation and hearsay. We ll keep you updated on any news we receive.

It could be trou i have a hunch capcom is focusing more on the ps3 ATM there are rumors dead rising is going too ps3 also since the next gen consoles the online gaming is bigger than before it was on xbox and ps2 MonsterHunter was a very popular online game for ps2 correct me if im wrong with todays popularity of the xbox360 and the ps3 it could be an very good online action RPG that can get the atention it deserves.

Personally I think MH3 will sell quite well when it comes out in the EU/US as long as they do it soon and off the back of the PSP games success.

Prefer them to work on DR2 when the Wii port is done makes more sence as DR is what 2 years old and no doubt would suffer the same poor port as Lost Planet did.
But reguarding MH i agree ps3 version would be welcome as would a 360 version.
Hm, last time I hear it was cancelled for PS3 ? I will check again ... But sure I am waiting for a Monster Hunter on PS3, this time not only tail and horns will be cut off but we must be able to cut every part of these creatures , like their wings ... Well its possible now on PS3 :D

I was reading a dutch site they had seen on an oficial sony forum there was a question if dead rising came too PSN and John Diamonon (capcom) replyed
You haven t seen the last of Dead Rising. this could mean it comes for PSN or DR II .
Sorry for going of topic with this....i just want too set it strait :)
I currently dont own a ps3 but if MH3 or Frontier would came too ps3 it would be reason for me too get one around christmas and RE afcourse...

as much as i would love to see it on my ps3, i think a 360 and a ps3 release would be great, it would get more people involved with the MH series, and show capcom that the US and Europe would buy into the franchise, it may even boost sales of the portable titles too, i would like to see cross platform online play, so xbox and ps3 owners can hunt together, thats my utopia!!
