I keep getting the You tried to post in an area you cannot post message when i post topics or replies to topics.
I have to press the back button, and then press post again in the hope that my message will be posted.
This can happen several times before it sorts itself out and lets me post.
I get this all the time too, seems to happen if your on the post message screen for a certin amount of time.
When did you start having this problem, guys?
Not recently, its only until I saw TZMs post on the subject that I thought Ill respond.
At a guess Id say a month or so back, perhaps longer.

Ive only been having the problem for a couple of days now.
At first i thought it was a problem on my end, but it kept on happening whilst other forums had stopped having problems (due to problems on my end).
It seems to have replaced the error that happens if you spend too long posting a reply or topic.
Does it log you out as well?

I think it does. And it has been happeneing to me as well, for some time now. It appears to be the 2nd time activated bug, the 1st one being error 500 (?).

Neither of these errors ever occured when I posted something. I only got the error 500 once when the forum was offline for a short time at night. I had this experience on another forum (i don t have any problems, but others do) and there, the problem had something to do with the cookies. If I remember that correctly this forum used phpBB (have no idea what that is or what it does though) and I think I saw some powered by phpBB here too. Or am I mixing something up?

If you clear your cookies then there shouldnt be a problem. There is a timeout about 30mins or so when youre idle on the forum.
Also the forum used to be phpBB, but its not anymore.

I finally got a screenshot of the event in question. I thought this might help somehow.
Happens to me too, namely when I click on the page number to access it, usually a refresh fixes it but its still annoying.
