To celebrate the launch of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles on the Nintendo Wii Capcom is calling all zombies to head to central London on 31st October.
We're offering a free Nintendo Wii and a copy of the latest instalment in the Resident Evil series to the best dressed zombie. Two more zombies will win a copy of the game for the best zombie stagger and the best zombie moan.
The zombie Walk is taking place from 12 noon on Saturday 31st October outside Tate Modern. Zombies should horde from noon and then prepare to go on the 'rampage' across the Millennium Bridge.
Your zombie contacts will meet you at Tate Modern from noon. Please don't eat them.
Members of the press will be invited to take photos, so shy zombies need not re-animate.
Free zombie make-up will also be applied by an expert to the first 20 Zombies who stagger over. Please arrive at 11am if you want make-up done.
Zombies can also get their photographs with two glamorous zombies who will be putting in an appearance.

Awww, it's happening at the time Eurogamer starts, so I can't make it. Would have been fun. :(

Lots of promotional zombie walks in England, it seems.
In Belgium, we have one, during the International film festival, but this is the second one in less then three months that I've heard about.
The other one was a Koei promotion for their "Undead Knights" game.
Personally, I think Capcom and Koei/Tecmo need to team up and get a BIGGER zombie walk on. 8D

I am definetly interested in this and even more if I was lucky to get the professional make up. I am totally going to be there and then stumble on to the Eurogamer Expo. They might not even allow me inside but it would be funny.

funnier to do it in zombie character mode or just as some dude dressed as a zombie and doesn't realise it
I made a music video at collage where my friend decided that he should be split into two personalities but still in one body, so he shaved half his head and shreaded the clothes on his left side of his body. He got some super wierd looks that day and the police stopped him thinking he'd been mugged

I would go for the Zombie character mode, you can start roaring and people will slowly start moving towards the opposite side of the coach :hop:

Im pretty good at make up too.....this was my skeleton face done by myself for haloween a couple years back

Sounds amazing! Going to Eurogamer anyway, so coming over to this first and then to Eurogamer dressed as a zombie sounds like a brilliant idea (would also look great when playing L4D2 ^^)!
Will try and be there as early as I can, free make up sounds great, considering how I'd be rubbish at it myself D:
The plan is that we meet up somewhere before the walk - I'll let you know where and when. The free makeup is only for the first 20 people so I shall get enough theatre make up for us, I'm not bad with paint and I shall make you all pretty :D Let me know how many of you are turning up and I'll make sure I've got enough stuff.

Hmm, this is kinda a hard choice, as it's something I really want to do, yet I've paid for my eurogamer ticket, so wanted to get in before the big queues started.
I'd be in london by 10.30, but some people would still be earlier than that, so I doubt very much I'd be in the first 20 to have mega awesome professionally done make-up.
Hmm, so it's a choice of miss this and go to eurogamer early to play AVP and God of War 3 straight away, or go to this awesome event, and get stuck with queues at eurogamer all day.
Why is life such a pain in the butt?
Hmm, I could move like a zombie alright too, as my leg is still a little bit dodgey (if I want it to be, haha). Gah, decisions.
Is it easy to get to wherever us capcom people plan to meet up for the walk, or is it miles away from eurogamer?
I've got til saturday to decide, but really I would like to do both. I think eurogamer stays open til late, but might miss the free stuff as well.......and I really would like some god of war and avp merchandise before it runs out.

Well, I'll try and do both, but probably only if it's easy to get to both, and need to find the meeting place, and also convince my friend Alex to come to this walk with me as well. If I don't do my make-up, then maybe I'd be lucky and be one of the first, but dunno. No point me doing it and wasting it, then finding out I was in the first 20, but meh, I dunno, some people will probably wait from 10am, so I dunno if there's much point. :(
I'm not to bad with the make up, don't worry - tried and tested quite a few times :D

Here's how it's gonna go........if it's raining, then I'll just go straight to Eurogamer, and if it's meant to be a nice day, I'll come to the Zombie walk first.
So, my choice is now dependent on the weather.....lol.
What's the earliest you'll be there Ten? I'll probably be in London for 10.30, but dunno where everyone from here is meeting. :/

Guys, who needs make up? That's outside the first 20, don't worry about that. I'll be more than happy to make a mess out of your pretty features but I need to know how many of you need my skillful messing for a) know how much white shtuff I need and b) time.
Based on that I'll make a call about the where and when. Quick quick, pretty please, got to buy things and organise by tomorrow.

Are you good at making flesh wounds? I will see if I can find some bandages at home. If anyone knows Dr Bones please ask her if she can lend some of her bone collection, from the solved cases. I need to find some fake eyes,plastic nails,bones and maybe a fake weapon going through my body.

I'm sure it'll be fine. I mean not all zombies have to have been buried, or spilt blood all over theirself.
I could say I died in a pile of leaves, where my body started to rot, but it wasn't muddy, so my clothes stayed relatively clean. :p

Madness. I don't even have a white shirt tbh, but I am gonna wear my "I <3 Bad Girls" t-shirt, with my dark blue, raw jeans.
the t-shirt is white with a funky design on....it's the one David Guetta wears in one of his music vids.
Just yea, gotta keep my clothes clean. :p

Let's meet up at the Tate Modern, as per instructions, at 11am. That should give us enough time for the zombification. I'll have my tools but if you want to clean yourself up afterwards I'd suggest that you bring some make-up removing wipes, some of the stuff I'll be using is waterproof. If you want fake blood, please bring your own.
