Monster Hunter Memories

Hey, i was thinkin about MH the last days n some good memories popped up in my head. So i made this topic to share em with u and maybe u got somethin to tell either.

I was thinkin about how much fun it was entering a Land ( online ) and searching for a group to hunt, chattin with em what we kill etc.

I remembered i had to kill 16 lao+ to get my 1st lao plate, and i was soooo happy about it, finally makin the Dragon Slayer.

I met so much people in there, made many friends, some of em r still in contact with me, like Redwings, Drakan, Yunnie, Hawk_The_Slayer and Ryuu.

I miss MH so much, playin with people i like all night long, hav¡ng fun, talking sh##, killin stuff goin for better equipment, helping noobs, all that. I wish i could still play it, was the best gaming experience in my life.

A little part of my first steps on MH.
I played MH one year, before i came online. I couldnt clear the quest were u have to get a powderstone. I just couldnt find it so i registered on a forum called mogelpower.de
There i met some hunters and they told me how s online. I came online at 18th March (my birthday) and i played with my new forum-m8 Black_Predator.
He helped me getting Hr13. From there on, i played alone and i joined a city where SILENTKILLER and Drakan were in. I asked if i could join their quest and they agreed. I remember cleary what the quest was. It was the egg quest in jungle with Rathian. SILENTKILLER and Drakan killed Ian and Drakan needed a Plate for some armor. He didnt get one but i. I never got a Plate before and i asked them for what i would need it. SILENTKILLER just answerd Plate stealer! and from there on i was the Plate stealer loL. We grabed eggs and i asked Drakan if i could add him to my friendlist cuz it s nice to talk to him. Quest clear. 1 week later i joined the city of SILENT again and i asked him if he remember me and he just answerd ye ure the Plate stealer xD. This was the start of the best friendship of my life =D

Im Touched you like moi so much Sil considering when I 1st met you I thought you were a arrogant tosser. but you mellowed out and matured then you were one my best hunting buddies.

Also cheers for the fun to the following people Ani, windslash, Redwings, leonidas, BAHAMUTX, Foxo cubes, Thunderous Fire, SCYO, Elmo and the rest you know who you all are.

Time for my most funny recollections Ill not post my MH flame wars tho, even tho they were funny.

I remember once doing a Grav + with Sil and some other people and I was clusting away until Grav charged me and nutted me in the bonce it was so bang on I lold in RL.

i have good memories from monster hunter online to i made lots of friends in that game i was so sad and a bit mad cause they closed the server i lost contact with much of my friends but im trying to find them back using much of stuff like 2 other forums and playstation network i found yesterday 1 of my friends back i hope i will find soon all the others anyone who is named in this message can pm me so plz if you see the name you used online plz pm me and in honor of all my friends i lost thank you for helping me and be my friend you guys maked monster hunter more than just a game so this are my friends who i lost and honor

yeah i know if i could do it over i would ask them it but i cannot do it over so....
anyway ill try to find them back so if someone has any suggestion what i can do to maybe find some more friends back by the way i found nephilia here on capcom thanx to my friend lord_dominion also i have other friends who are still in contact with me like alien1234 (duh its my best friend in real life) horatiu,linq,sapphira & pt23 so it is a good start i think i am the only one who has contact with 6/12 (almost 7/12) so yeah i found back 2 friends so ill maybe find those others to i keep think positive and try to search long enough im not giving up aready anyway i dont know how to quit :d by the way SILENTKILLER do you remember me from monster hunter online i remember was a couple of times with you in the same town

man....I really miss it all as well....kept contact with a few of my friends....still remember that it took me 2 years before I got online than finally got online played the frist few times alone than later I had others join me....first friends I made there where red91 and simsnake.

Later on I made more friends....some of them I stayed in contacted with others I lost the changes to ask them for there email adress...

Man...I still remember my frist lao...hehehe...was quit fun and epic....I was so amazed at the whole experience...I never expected lao to be so big and I wasnt complete sure what I was suppose to do...I am still greatfull to Eagleking for guiding me through the whole thing and giving me tips and advice on what to do.

I also remember what a pain it was to be able to clear 4 horns when it became my urgent quest...it took me forever to find a good team to be able to pass it....for awhile I though I would never clear that quest.

hehe...Silentkiller I either saw u online back in those days alot or we even might have done a couple of quest together....I was one of those crazy hammer collector hunters that loved hammers a little too much and used them to kill almost everything in the game with them...hehehehehe

im a hammer collector to but then in mhf2 i have 7 a 8 hammers in it i have much weapons in there a bunch of new weapons + all my other weapons for the armors same story im gone make a box full of weapons and same again for the armors but btw lord_dominion9 you forgot to tell you was the teacher about hammers and monster hunter online system and that i and horatiu where you students :d yeah it was great when i think about it i get a bit :cry: lol anyway ill be happy when i have all my friends back if i have them all back and they all have msn then i have 25 ppl on my msn lol :d

I have some MH memories too ...my first months online i meet this french MH group they where with a group of 10 i think they where pretty cool all wearing Loa armour it was the time fatalis wasnt availeble online so Loa armor was the best too get i was pretty impressed i remember doing Wollas with them and Los and Ian came in the same area i was a fierce hunter but an average at that time be so Ian smakked me whith her Tail AWWWW but i was spinning me joystick like mad so i was just in time too take a MAX potion before i passed i was proud i didnt let me get caught<---? by the poison:) of the tail they where cool hunters that they let an outsider in theyre group that outsider was me :) the group had some members called Dragon Slasher Lacdanan Hades i still remember them.........

Now remembering a polish player called Hexus :d He was running around with Eternal Annihilator and Dragon Armor for 1 and a half year, he never changed his weapon or armor lol, that was so weird. Also remembering Mohammad ..... he came always in my town, joining my quest and readying up. He never said even 1 word, NEVER. I dont know the reason.:d

Well the weirdest experience i had the last day online i did a quest with 3 others 2 male char and 1 girl char whe did Bass when we where in the area the grl keept running and pressing O if it went crazy and keep shouting f..k me :| we didnt now what overcoming us it was realy creepy it gave me the gooze bumbs
i told the guy,s it reminded me a bit of Exorcist movie and the laughed yeah it was a crazy last week there.

Sil this is a great reminder thank you!
yet since its so long i remember everything barely and its hard to pin point the start.
it was my sister who played it first and introduced me too this game.
played offline abit, liked it even more and started online right away.
guided by a great friends like Arya and Cresent sun, i started to get better then i used to be
Arya is such a great friend that i really wanted to compete with her and get better gear all the time.
everything went great till hr 17 where my data corrupted, i started right away and strangely i liked it even more then the way it was
met some new great friends like tony, justice, folken, claviuz and many more (sorry guys cant remember all your names)
went all the way hr 20 and then just played abit for fun until i met my buddys Silentkiller and redwings, ofcourse drakan i cant forget :D
was strange at first but they kinda dragged me into there records and was 1 of the best times of my career.
eventually i got in the gravios, gypceros, khezu and a few time trails in the top 10 records.
well cant really tink of more atm to write down but it really was a great time in my gaming experience.

lol, this is awesome reading, my first time online i remeber i was such a noob, i hadnt done much of the offline quests so i had a shi**y buster sword or something, i went into a town and there was a gy in full hornetaur armour, and i remember thinking he looked like a god, i asked him to help me with a velocidrome mission, he said ok, and a few other new guys joined too,(dont remember names) we hunted around for a while and it was a great feeling to quest with other people, i got a keyboard a few days later and it got even better, chatting was much easier, i only remeber one name, which was celestial star, he was a good laff, i joined there clan(again cant remember the name), they helped me with my first Lao, i couldnt believe the size of it!!got to HR20, then went around towns helping other people, thats what i liked about the game most was the community, everyone helped each other out, it was a true hunter spirit!i live for seeing that online element come back!!

I love memories. I mean, when i 1st got online there was noone to help me, i had done everything offline by myself, and i was doing the 1st couple of missions online myself. The 1st time i played with people, was when i had to defeat Basa.

All i said was Basa on the board and everyone ran to get spots. Even when it was the earlier Basa, where you couldnt get enything intresting for the experienced players. Anyways, thats where i met some of my 1st mates. I cant remember them anymore, but they where some good people, started to call me Tai (why? Im not saying) So anyways..

Afther a while i started to meet some people from my homeland (Finland) and im still in touch with them. The really helped me out and in the end i was helping them too.

Some friends i met online: Jupe, ALCHEMIST, Rahtalos_Killer (Short for Ratho) Dragonmyballs, Windlash_Elite.

Anyways good memories. Nice to hear there are still people thinking about MH
