If id send my box to repair, will i get a console from the til i get my own back or do i have to wait for mine ?

I got the Elite one.... yesterday night it made some weird noises while playin SC4. Hope i wont get the death:d

The 360 always makes weird noises. Its only when it actually starts to crash that you should worry.
Just make sure you keep it well ventilated, etc. And keep dust off of it.
Good thing to do is to place the 360 on the box it comes in, as this helps keep it cool (for some reason).

My 360 does a fantastic jet engine impression, especially when I used to play FF 11.

I dont have much space between the box and my cupboard lol. But i dont kno why u need space for the box, cause it doesnt suck in the air, it presses the warm air outside. So 5cm should do ^^

The hot air will stay around the console in a tight space, and create a warmer surrounding area.
This will make the console work harder to keep itself cool, resulting in an increasingly warm space.
The end result is console death.
Keep it in an open space, and the air has room to circulate.
Its common sense really.

I know but i cant place it elsewhere, no space :| When i put my tv on the wall ill get some space, need to find the stuff to make that first. Will go to shop tomorrow then.

Is there no way of moving things around?
Are you limited to a small room, etc?
The wires for the 360 are fairly long, and do offer you the chance to place the console a fair distance away from the TV.
