why haven't capcom released monster hunter 2 on the ps2 and why

i am a big moster hunter fan and have beaten fatalis and karins and i would like to play monster hunter 2 or monster hunter freddom 2 on the ps2 as i love the gam i know there are alot of people that would like to see it reased on the ps2 can anyone tell me ehy they havent reased it yet from phil
p.s if capcom reads this and then the game comes out on the ps2 i will be the happyiest man on the planet

Dude..... man...... why didnt u get it by now ? It wasnt released outside asia cause it didnt sell well on PS2 in the US and Europe. The game is 2 1/2 years out, why r u bringing this up again. And ur saying ud like to play Freedom 2, go n buy it then, its out since 1 year in europe.

There s no Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on Ps2, only on PsP.

SILENTKILLER is right. Capcom dont give a **** what their fans want. They do what they want and if they dont want to bring a game, then they never will.
MH2 will never come and its not even worth to talk about this game cuz there are more and better monsters on PsP.

SILENTKILLER were Hunter Nr.1 on MH online. He killed 5500 Rathalos and 5500 Rathian and over 15000 wyvern total. As of December 31, 2007 Monster Hunters Online server is down.

event quest online for crimson tickets you had to beat 2 los and reward random los loot and crimson tickets it was on last year but i will try and equal you record for los and ian it will take a while but i can do it sorry if i offended u silentkiller i have been out of the loop for a wee while as of over 1 year and i am good at mh but i might not be as good yeat and with the fatalis do u use the dragontor gun or just climb on its back to kill it i useally drop on to its back and swing like hell with the anceint blade with my power charm and armour charm on and hope for the best

Its normal that people are disaponted or Cheerfull for different reasons in this case the topic starter is a bit disapointed so he does have the right too express his feelings about this subject maybe hees hoping for an answer from a capcom employe .In my opinion it doesnt matter if a game is already 2 and a half years old if hee wants too say let him do so maybe his point can help a rerealese you cant tell!!

either way the Wii sales will do no better than the ps2 sales of MH1 and most likley do worse

MH1 did not sell well out of japan so MH 2 woud not have sold more and i dont think 3 will no matter what platform it is on.

Ps2 is on its last legs and MH 3 imo would sell worse if released on that system and now the lack of backwards compattability on the ps3 does not help.

So looking at current gen consoles 360, ps3 and Wii it makes more sence to release it on the Wii due to the biger user base over the other two consoles and also with Wii is easyer and cheaper to develope for.

Like all i would love MH2 to in europe but i have got over it and moved on.

Educated guess, if MH did sell over 100,000 units they would considered a US/EU release. but the simple fact remains that Capcom have decided not to realease MH 2 in those regions. Remember shipping is expensive.

This topic is currently goin to be stupid. It s not important how many ppl want the game. They can make petitions and send it to Capcom and they d still dont care. We made that when Metal Gear Online (Subsistence) Server went down and we had around 12.000 signs and sent it to Konami. They dont give a ****, so get over it !
Btw. u have to pay for playing MH2 online.

Graphics dont make a game great gameplay dose. Graphics is a bonuns.
The Wii is out selling the ps3 and 360 and has inferia graphics.

Only the 60GB ps3 PAL will play ps2 games the 40GB Ps3 does not play ps2 games. They no longer make or sell the 60GB version the majoraty os PS3 n europe will not play ps2 games.

I am supprised though it has not gone multiplatform unless capcom have made a deal with nintendo.
