Full map of Raccoon City

For years now, weve had access to this map:

But anybody whos been paying attention should have noticed that this has never been the full map. In Outbreak 1&2 and RE2, you can see the full map posted up on the walls of certain buildings. There was even a time when Capcom released a flash game to advertise Outbreak, where we had access to the full map (and even nearby towns).

I just happened to do a quick search on google today, and found this:

Which is, as far as i can tell, the closest thing we are now getting to a full map of the city.

I thought people may be interested in this find. Im also interested in whether or not anybody has access to that flash map anymore? Because, if played right, you could get your characters to the nearby town of Arklay...i was wondering if it was actually possible to get the full map from that site??

I quite like the idea that the city is completely surrounded by the forest, which gives a trapped feeling to it!

Has Raccoon City always had a Nulcear Power Facility? I thought that was something they put into Outbreak in order to provide a cover for nuking the city.

As you can see theres a park and a hospital near it.

Thats the Dead Plant, youre talking about.

It was a water treatment, sewage and waste disposal facility, which was being used by Umbrella to dispose of infected victims, it wasnt a Nuclear Power Facility.

Any idea if its official or not then?

I figured it was mostly taken from the flash game that was used to advertise Outbreak.

As for the Raccoon Nuclear that may just be accidental relabeling or any number of problems. Outbreak certainly made quite a few changes to areas.

It is not official. But like you said, it is the closest thing to a full map of the city, and its probably not too far off either.

Im gunna stick with it. There arent many additions to the thing anyway.


Perhaps one day Capcom will be kind enough to release an actual map though. (edit: a full map i mean)
