Ive got far too many to mention them all...like giving orders to jump to a particular sector and accidentally jumping to the wrong one in turn based strategy games, jumping off the sofa and throwing the controller up in the air when unexpected zombies suddenly appear (!) and falling asleep whilst playing co-op or online multiplayers. Hmmm, it sounds like I either jump or fall asleep :dead:

So, any anectotes?

I have the obvious embaressing moments of completely missing the obvious thing in the game...wondering around for hours, looking for that elusive rusty key only to find it in a box that was in the room next to the one i started in...

I think most of my moments have come along when ive been to cocky...rushing into a situation and not dealing with it properly, just to try and show off...and then being slapped around the face by the game, and having restart the section.

I think the most recent moment was playing Halo 2 Deathmatch.

I was winning 6-0, with a 10 being a win.

I was flying around in a...flying thing with guns (it was purple?), just pwning my friend...and then i got just that little too close and he jumped on board, threw me out, and started shooting me down.

I admitted my mistake and ran around shouting oh noez! as he battered my perfect score.

However, when it was at 8-8, i managed to get my score up to 10-8, and won the game.

Embaressing, but not too embaressing.

Crimsonland: Surrounded by zombies and mutant insects, I was slowly dying as my shotgun began to run out, a reload would kill me, so I used the Self-destruct option to wipe them all out at once............... only to realise there was a first aid kit right next to me.

Grand Theft Auto 4: In an effort to have the most dramatic death possible, I cheated for a helicopter, jumped in and flew as high as I could, at the highest possible height, I jumped from it, Niko screamed as he fell several verticle miles and hit the floor with heavy impact.......... and got up, he survived with just a scratch on his health.

Counter-Strike: I was the last one alive and the other team only had one member too, the odds where even, as we hid and crept up on eachother, I saw a gun better than my own, so I picked it up, saw his back, and.............heard the clicking sound of an empty gun, he spun around and emptied his Desert Eagle in to my head.

Dead Rising: During the opening zombie invasion, even though its impossible, I tried to save as many people as I can, I picked up and threw heavy items, wiping out several zombies at a time, although I didnt save them all, I saved a few people, when a zombie began to approach, I threw a bench and................it flipped vertically in the iar, flew upright and hit the one survivor on the head, killing him instantly.

Playing some resi 4 before i went to sleep. Did put the controller next to the bed when i was done gaming. Next morning i woke up (not the most active person in the morning) and stepped on the controller. I wanted to play more resi at night and found out that Leon could only walk backwards. No matter what i tried....he kept doing it. I will never ever put a controller next to the bed again.

once i was playing animal crossing wile i was in bed- i fell asleep and woke up with the game still on where i had left it! it was so strange! i didnt even roll onto the ds!

GTA 4: I was playing with a friend for the first time online, he was showing me the city and we went to pick-up an helicopter. He jumped to the pilot seat, and after a few minutes in the air he told me to press triangle... Too late I remembered that triangle was to leave the helicopter, so I just started falling while he was laughing loud on the mic...:dead:

Thats funny! it reminds me of when i was playing gta san andreas with my friends. we were myth hunting for bigfoot and leatherface. my friend was flying the plane but she went out of control and crashed! i was so annoyed for some reason- maybe its because she said she knew how to fly it! we sung random songs whilst we were walking through the woods. my other friend agreed that the gta woods were scarier than a horror game they played (not a capcom one by the way)... creepy stuff happens in those woods...

All Id need to say would be Street Fighter 4, and that should raise an eyebrow or two.

I was terrible at it during MCM and Eurogamer. Its been years since I played a street fighter properly, and the only one I ever completed was Street Fighter 2 on Super Nintendo, all of those years back.

I was playing on the arcade machines at these past two events, and have no idea what the controls or combos are, so it was a case of find out what punches and kicks, and try to win............much button mashing occured, but little winning happened lol.

I thought it was quite amusing, and everytime I went back to play it, just turned around and said have fun kicking my arse basically.

Yea, I think it always was hard though.

I play everything, well more or less.........as long as its good Ill play it. The fighting games I usually play are Soul Calibur and Tekken. Not bought a Street Fighter game in a while though, and the latest one is really cool. It plays much like Street Fighter 2, so I love it. :D

I kicked ass at Resi 5 in front of everyone at Eurogamer though. Out of the queue me and my friend were in, I was the first person to beat the demo (and didnt bother using much health, but didnt lose much either, so She-va healed me when she wanted) against the axe wielder, and my friend did the demo against the chainsaw person.

Lol, its so rad. I kept fighting in the tiniest little space, the axe man didnt hit me once, and then my friend was like wouldnt it be easier to take everything out in the open where theres more space, so I was like oh yea, and then started stunning the axe man loads, and running up to him and uppercutting his butt or smacking him in the back.

Funniest thing was punching one guy in the face, that seemed to knock about three other people over, or at least out the way. I had like 6 people in front of me, and shot all of their knee caps out. I probably wasnt meant to laugh, but found it hilarious with the constant arghs and groans of kneeless people, and the person before me who I was speaking to chucked a grenade and it bounced back at him, so I found that hilarious too.

Some more decent Capcom games out soon, like normal. :D

Always been a Devil May Cry man, right from the beginning though, so cant ait for DMC5....hopefully they will elaborate on where Nero came from. I thought before the game he could have been Dante and Ladys son, but who knows......other people think hes Vergils son, but I dunno. Sparda could have had a brother, and he could have been Spardas brothers son, making him Dantes cousin lol. He has a much thinner amount of Sparda blood in him though, so who knows.

hmm, wheres this eurogamer event held?

It backs onto brick lane in London, near Liverpool Street Station. :)

Was the first time Ive ever been to london with my friends (usually go up every christmas with my mum, dad and brother to see my family), and so I met some people there and went up to it. Was a pretty rad event actually. Loved it. :D
