ok so the "what should be the next capcom Vs game" thread seems to have run it's course but if your fantasy vs game was made, whom would it feature?
I'd go for Vs Square Enix and the main fighters i'd love to see are:
Capcom:------------- Square:
Ken masters---------- Cloud
Chun li--------------- sephiroth
strider--------------- squall
Dante---------------- sora
Gene (god hand) ----- Sion Barzahd (the bouncer)
Leon s kenedy-------- Chrono
Hyato (star gladiator)- Randi (secret of mana)
ameterasu------------ edge (FFIV)
how cool would dante vs cloud be!!!!!

awesome.... this game will be great!!!! even a square enix fighting game without the VS will be cool. with all the final fantasy characters, the bouncer characters, chrono trigger characters, chrono cross characters....etc
but a proper fighting game not like dissidia.
there was another square fighter years ago called Erghiz. it was sort of half way between Tekken and Dissidia. it also featured Cloud, sephiroth, tifa and vincent from FFVII as bonus characters. it was a fairly good game for a PS1 era brawler. it probably hasn't aged well but was fun at the time. between that, the bouncer and Dissidia, square have proved that they can bring something fresh and interesting to the Fighting genre. if there was a capcom vs squareenix game i'd like to see it made by square enix (as SNK did with capcom vs snk chaos). could be interesting.
The Capcom characters I'd like to see would be:
Dante(Devil May Cry)
Falcon(Power Stone)
Frank West(Dead Rising)
Wesker(Resident Evil)
Wayne(Lost Planet
Chuck Greene(Dead Rising)
Dhalsim(Street Fighter)
'Rathalos hunter'(A generic monster hunter wearing Rathalos armour, Monster Hunter)
Phoenix Wright(Ace Attourney)
G-Red(Gotcha Force)
not so sure about the dhalsim thing but i agree with the others

if they made such a game id like to see RIVAL SCHOOLS characters :)

I like Dhalsim, it's because I used to suck with everyone except Dhalsim when I was younger.
