I was browsing on vg chartz and i noticed there is a listing for this. There is no date.

Interesting, he earns imaginary forum money for each game he adds, doesn't work for Capcom or any affiliate that I know of and Seems heavily infatuated with the Wii.
Unless I hear different from a legitimate source, I consider this fake.

Yeah, as Dante says, it's not official and the guy seems to have an obvious obssession with Nintendo.
I know he's a site admin, however, this doesn't mean squat if he's going by rumour and has no solid backup for the information he's providing.
Given that the page itself (RE3) hasn't been updated since April its safe to assume he's either mistaken Darkside Chronicles or is talking about a re-release for an entirely different format, I don't think RE3 would ever make a shelf release at its age, it'd have to be a compilation of the original RE games, not just 3 on its own.

I didn't check the poster, but i figure that was worthy of mentioning. I havent seen this mentioned anywhere else though.
But i dont get why he would list wrongly if thats what has been done. Selfishness?
Numerous reasons I guess.
Misinformed, based on rumour, speculation, wanting to have the most "complete" databases, wanted to make himself look like a top provider, entered the wrong format, it goes on and on.

It's a problem that occurs when rumours hit the net.
Imagine being an information provider that doesn't list a game because it is only rumoured, and then the game does get announced.
Some people just prefer to be safe than sorry, even though it's just flawed logic.
When rumours of REmake and Zero coming to the Wii hit the net, there were rumours of the whole series getting ported over. Chances are, he put them up on the list, just incase.
The chances of the Wii getting RE2 and RE3 are worse than slim-to-none, because they are now 3 generations old. This is why we got Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles instead.
I'm gunna close the thread now, since we've covered what needs to be covered.
